Had a brother say that he is more intrigue by white women who have the mannerisms, talk the slang, or simply act and model themselves after a black woman than having the real black woman (the White-Black Woman). I think it's bullshit, but have anyone else here ever hear of such a thing? For the ladies, if this is true then why would those white women feel the need to satisfy a black man by being something they are not. They have to know the man is going to eventually tire of the fake and will ultimately move on.

Well you know ghetto attracts ghetto. Being the upscale bourgie snob I am I prefer WW that actually act white and are not averse to white men. Been there, done that with the "white chick who acts black" thing.

And people don't start with the whole "what is acting black" dumb shit. We all know what it is.

Blacktiger you need to keep it up with topics like this instead of trying to ram your conservative teabag nonsense down people's throats.

It's not "hot" nor is it "cute" when anyone does it. Regardless of if they're a white woman, white man, black man or black woman. I often find myself shaking my head and wondering why someone can't speak properly now a days. A comment here and there is fine in jest can be funny but cmon I want to be able to understand what people are saying, not sitting there wondering what the fuck that person just said!

To some ignorant people, I might act "Black", but everyone who's ever known me, knows I'm not acting anything. I've always been myself. This is me. Take it or leave it!

i completely agree...i don't understand much of the slang...speaking well ties into the proper english thread...i have a real problem with people who don't make an effort to learn the english language...slang doesn't sound right coming out of my mouth...no desire to try and act more black because that is not the type of man that interests me anyway:rolleyes:

There are some WW who have a demeanor similar to BW, but what is wrong with that if they are not acting and have grown up around and hung out with black people all there lives. Eminem is not acting black, thats just the way he is. Also there is no one way of acting BLACK.

As for the question. I prefer my white woman who is herself, the way she is comfortable. If you need to change your persona around me than its a No No for us getting together. I just don't want someone who is extremely Ghetto of any race.

    No, they don't.

Just be yourself. If that intrigues me, then so be it.

You know something, Karacoma, you remind me of my older brother. I like to think of myself as an eclectic black man. One who takes a bit from every source of life. I hate the very thought of being an average black man. Being that "27 year of punk" like my older brother like to call me I have a certain reverance to confound those who want to peg me in a box to think a certain way.

Fuck at here Karma with the "acting black" bullshit. I'm so tired of the idea of being ghetto is exclusive to black people. I'm very well educated and speak articulately so am I "acting white".
You don't like ghetto chicks fine but you as a bm who dates ww you should want to be judged as person not just a bm.

How do act or model yourself as a "black woman"? Most of the black women and men in my family do not talk slang(general american dictation is preferred for English speakers that have lived all of their life in the usa). I grew up with no one talking slang so I don't want a woman talking slang. I would prefer a woman that has manners and acts and models their self like the usual American woman. No slang, no big differences in hair color(stuff like pink hair or orange hair or yellow hair such as big bird yellow), no short hair(I don't mean like up to your neck. I mean you don't have any or barely have hair), no gold teeth. I didn't grow up with that nonsense. My family still has class talk. They will make comments if they think you do crap like gold teeth in your mouth.

I'll just say, fuck hoodrat mentality from any woman. I don't care if somebody uses slang, though. This is 2010, damn near everybody my age uses slang. Can't really trip is my friends say shit like "hella" and "sketch", or sometimes even "mob" and "dippin'". I say that shit, too.

And being conservative is the way to do that? A line of thinking that's antithetical to you as a black man in America? Hahaha you kill me.
