    Not so fast, D-Money.

Still a few things that need to be addressed before anymore rings come to the City of Angels.

    Particularly, that lousy ass bench.

Don't get me wrong, I love my city and I love my Lakers, but this is not the cure-all for our past problems. It is, however, a step in the right direction.

This. Holy shit, has the Laker bench ever been this sad?

We haven't had a good bench in a verrrryy long time.

I would have rather seen him go to Chicago if he wasn't going to stay in Florida.

Lakers about to be nasty! Love DH...ok...love his arms mainly but the boy can play! Nash still got it, thought he was older but ok...I'll take it!
    Should be interesting...

I'm not saying the Lakers will win it all, but the western conference just got a lil more interesting. Kobe, Nash, & Howard is a helluva trio.

Maybe now Dwight Howard will stop whining and complaining and live up to his full potential.

This is an unbelievable acquisition of talent over the last two months. Steve Nash, Antawn Jamison, Jodie Meeks, and the best center in the game. Dwight Howard, if he remains a Laker, will create a seamless transition from the Kobe Bryant era into another era of championship contention. Mitch Kupchak deserves a sterling gold medal for his efforts.

    Lakers Championship Contender?

Steve Nash= Old one dimensional PG with a bad back.

Kobe= On the down side of his career

Artest= One dimensional player who's mentally unstable.

Gasol= Great offensive big who plays little to no defense.

Dwight= Great defender and rebounder but has no real offensive game. He's also mentally weak and folds under pressure in big moments.

The bench= Jamison(A once great player who's on the down side of his career), Steve Blake(Streaky shooter), Clarke(Bust), Troy Murphy(Scrub), Chris Duhon(decent player), Robert Sacre(Rookie), Darius Morris, Darius Johnson-Odom(Rookie), Jordan Hill(Mediocre Big), Devin Ebanks, Jodie Meeks and Andrew Goudelock.

The Lakers will be lucky if they make it to the western conference finals with that roster.

I still give the nod to OKC for the Western Conference.

We'll see if the season proves me wrong.

No way in hell does any western conference team stand a chance against this Lakers squad. We have way too much firepower for the Spurs or Thunder to mount four wins in a playoff series against. Book a trip a for the 2013 Finals.

    Nope, not happening.

However I'd agree with you if only y'all had kept Jeremy Lin.

We are so gonna feel that one this season but to be fair there was no chemistry with Melo so maybe it was a good thing. We'll see

Jeremy Lin meant the difference between the Knicks winning a championship next season???
