Feminist and Honor Killings

I heard today that a prominent muslim television executive here in the United States cut off his wife's head, yet there was no national reporting of this story. Why? Why did not feminist organizations make a stand on this one? Yet when Micheal Vick got caught in dog fighting it made the news for months.

Just saying when it comes to mistreatment of women in muslim cultures there is a dead silence from feminist organizations and much of the media around the world. It's like they are scared. If it was the Christians the secular press would go non-stop in reporting such crimes. Your reaction here proves my point. Don't criticize the muslims, only the Christians. The bias and hypocrisy on this site is astonishing.

 

Fact much of the media ignored that story.

There hasnt been silence for feminists on this issue. They have used it for bigoted fodder, just like you.

The problem I have with what you said is you identified them as Muslim and used that as the source for beheading. Beheading isnt Islamic, it is cultural. It is heritage, not religion, which is the source for beheading and honor killings.

We had a case here in Tx where a man killed and cooked his girlfriend. He was christian. No one came off, "OMG the Christians are BBQing their women!!!". Most here are familiar enough with Christianity to know it isnt Biblical.

And the man wasnt a prominent TV station executive, he and his wife owned the station. Their stations agenda was to promote tolerance for Muslims and moderation amongst Muslims.

Michael Vick was as close to American royalty as we have. He was a Football Hero/God. Our culture elevates them to a special standing and when they fall, football nuts go nuts. It had nothin to do with dogs being more revered than women. It has to do with c e l e b r i t y.

 

Beheading is referenced/mentioned/supported many times in the Koran, unlike cooking your girlfriend, which is not in the Bible. Beheading is a form of Islamic punishment. Period.

The reason the PC media/feminist didn't report this story is because of responses like yours - they don't want to be called "racist", so they continue this fabricated notion that Islam is a "religion of peace".

So, while some Christians in the U.S. may not want gay marriage, the Koran says that a wall must be dropped on gays in order to kill them.
