I for one who could care less what others believe or think so long they do not thread on me, however, I do believe that it is your right to believe in whatever you desire as a basic human right. The chants coming out of the mouths of those who want to get rid of the pagan Easter Bunny along with the Christmas Santa and the Christmas Tree need to back off and let people enjoy what they want to believe. This mind control and manipulation by the elites has got to be stop. Stay out of my bedroom, let me eat what I want, let me screw who I want, don't tell me what to drink, don't tell me what to believe. If I do not believe in organized religion (fastest growing group in the United States by the way) then that is my belief. Maybe this should have gone under the "Fuck You Thread". Leave us the fuck alone and deal with your own lifeless lives. Michael Savage (radio talk show host) say's it best "Mine your own damn business and not mine". That is what is wrong with this nanny state country today.

Some folks just prefer to celebrate Christmas and Easter in the Christian way. They want to spread their view that Jesus is the reason for the season. Santa Claus and The Easter Bunny are considered pagan distraction. I contend that the two are representative of Jesus. I think the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus represent gentleness, generosity, beginning anew, love and compassion. All the things that the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are. Let everyone celebrate in their own way. Happy Easter, everyone.

This giving of presents on Easter is going too far. Gifts instead of eggs and candy makes a kid more spoiled. In Russia and other Eastern Orthadox nations this holiday ranks with Christmas.

Anyone who thinks there are 'forces' aligned to get rid of the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus is watching too much Faux News.

Why would godless liberals care about getting rid of imaginary creatures and people??

If anything, it's the evangelical right that wants to eliminate the pop culture symbols of Easter and Christmas.

Faux News does this move several times a year, EVERY YEAR, this war on Christmas/religion/Easter BS, and their viewers fall for it every single damn time.:axe:
