    This is a great question, but people seem to be afraid of asking it because they don't want their patriotism called into question.

    Exactly!!!

    I didn't even realize how racist this country is until this election. Now I believe that I'm smart enough to realize just how ridiculous the whole concept of racism is, but at the same time I really wanted to believe that race in America was no longer an issue. I know for a fact that racism is taught, and it takes way more energy to hate than it does to love.

    If Barack Obama was white, this entire election would have been a wrap before the primaries. Furthermore, if he was indeed white then I'd STILL vote for him. There are two choices for president, and people act as if they can't see that one candidate is head & shoulders above the other one.

    You see how the GOP is no longer using the "experience" card against Obama since they got Sarah Palin on the ticket?;)

    Intelligent and fair-minded voters know that Obama is by far the better candidate !
