Fiorina cleaned house, she drove the bus over trump and drag him down to dumpster Carson is not ready for prime time Winners carline, Rubio and Christie What y'al think?
Thought fionna didn't get enough attention and wasn't quite aggressive enough. Liked John Bush's back and forth with Donald. John came to fight this time and had energy. Trump was right about his mistake about women, money and health needs. I'm not a fan of Cusack. I just don't trust him whatsoever even though he made very informative comments. Rand Paul what can I say about the guy.....Love him but I don't see him winning. The rest as far as I am concerned shouldn't be there. Carson clearly shouldn't be there even though I like his calm approach. Hucabee another one that I think is there for money. Trump as entertaining as ever. He was less of a target and got less in than last time.
Out of all the candidates I liked Kasich the most. He reminds me of the older-school intellectual conservatives and not the current fire-and-brimstone guys. I don't think that anyone won because it's impossible to win anything in this kind of format but he seemed the most reasonable and mature, by far. Bush loses points for the whole "he kept us safe" nonsense and Trump is still a blowhard, despite the fact that I agree with him on the issue of progressive taxation. Ted Cruz managed to make me dislike him even more than I did previously and that is saying a lot. There isn't a genuine, authentic, honest bone in his body. He's like a televangelist in that he knows what he's saying is completely full of shit but he just doesn't care as long as he's in the spotlight.
lol I meant Kasich. I didn't know who cusack was and when I typed in the closes spelling to it in google I came up with that name. I didn't click on any links since I assumed that he was probably the only famous person with that name.
My friends joked it was xanax but I thought he was effective in appearing to speak from the heart, at least more than the rest.
my friend had a "GOP comedy" party --- basically everyone came over to watch and crack jokes. Was fun, but I hope it matters what we think ....what if it doesn't?
I was actually surprised to catch a fleeting moment of reason ... those brave few who said Iraq was a mistake before it started (Carson) ... that 'merica is colorblind, belonged to the poor as much as rich (Fiorina), etc. But obviously those moments were far outnumbered by the "make me president and I'll kill the terrorists!" moments. lol Fiorina's moment about burying a child to drug addiction pretty much ended the debate. About that issue at least. Politics is a third-rate circus to me, but I'll admit the one thing that bothered me was the universal assertion during the debate that Obama was responsible for the state of the middle east/ISIS/Iraq debacle, etc. Dubya (Bush) created Iraq. This we can all agree. Our troops sacrificed so much for his whimsy. All the candidates kept saying "Obama made us unsafe" ... but four prior consecutive presidents ordered bombing of Iraq. By the time Obama took office Iraq --the middle east --was a horror film. Whatever. Dubya (Bush) created the 'NSA spying on Americans' ordeal and its cover-up. This we can all agree. But there may be happenings during Obama's admin that I'm wary of. I was certain that the Iran deal was the only deal ... short of another Hiroshima. But I'm not sure we should lift sanctions in consideration for ... (?) ...
The NSA was breathed enourmous life and leeway under the Obama Administration. The Patriot Act was recertified, albeit cleverly renamed the Freedom Act. Nonetheless, the Government is one entity at this point in history, regardless of which side takes a seat. Since Reagan's trickle, the rich have been catered to, the middle class temporarily appeased and the poor controlled. What's going to change? ***** My bad for not reminding you. It was a long three hours. And just an excuse for CNN to continue The Trump Show. **** Kasich was my surprise like.
Great minds think alike, agree 100%. What really pissed me off about Cruz was his blatant lying about the Iran deal per below. "Trying to lay out a position on the Iran agreement that he wants to shred on "Day One" as president, Ted Cruz brought up right-wing complaints about alleged "side deals" and Iranians being allowed to inspect their own facilities. The problem with those claims is that neither is true. Ever since the International Atomic Energy Agency has inspected nuclear facilities of the world's nations, it has done so under confidential arrangements. Without confidentiality, no nation, not just Iran, would remain signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. This is standard operating procedure. If Cruz wants to abrogate the NPT, demanding to see those arrangements is the perfect way to do it. As for self-inspections, the IAEA has said it will supervise the taking of samples by Iranians."
He was on something but of course being a doctor means having access to the good shit lol. I honestly was waiting for him to fall asleep at the podium. On the other hand Christie looked like he was about to have a heart attack if he got any more amped up.
The most telling thing about Ted Cruz was how at the beginning, when the candidates were introducing themselves, Ted Cruz got no applause from the audience while everyone else did. I am not even remotely surprised that he's pulling random things out of his ass. He is aneurysm-inducing.
A doctor had once stated publicly that governor Christie is going to die because of his weight. Christie went on to say that this wasn't true. He had lost a lot of weight since then. Stress, especially in the political arena, is very dangerous.
I love how they call these laws "Patriot" and "Freedom" as they are designed to do nothing but take more of our freedoms away. It's a big old "F YOU" that our government is shoving in our faces and the American people are just eating it up. I don't know if the middle class is being appeased. It's more like dwindling. I wasn't able to watch either debate, which ticked me off, because I don't have cable. That being said, I don't know what it is about that man, but I really like Chris Christie. He just has a way about him that I like. I can't explain it. On a Trump side note, my sister and bro-in-law who are both raging Democrats said yesterday that they like Trump. I nearly fell off my chair. There's something about what Trump is saying that is attracting a huge part of the populace. I saw an article today that said Fiorina is now second only to Trump. How crazy is that? She took a HUGE leap in less than a week. This race is shaping up to be quite interesting.
The only person that spoke to black people was rand paul . He was saying that the drug laws wss destroying blacks
CNN.com I believe carried it live. Fiorina should have been in the first prime time FOX debate, instead of the earlier less watched one. So it was nice to see her get some shine. I think she has passed Ben in the polls, but it's still so early. Christie is as arrogant as Trump, just smarter in politics. We were laughing because he was leaning all over his podium by hour two, and I know he was just bitching inside about how long it was going on and no chairs to sit. True, the middle-class is dwindling, l meant more-so that the govt keeps them at bay, with small tax breaks, and appeasing policies to keep the Middle Class from revolting.
