Since I cannot seem to get on his radio station, we will see if he brings this issue up. I will not hold my breath. I did send it to Tony our local radio talk show host here to put it up for discussion on the Hampton Roads Virginia air waves.
I don't know if this is a fair claim. We got to remember Bush number one and Clinton did a good job in lowering the debt. The real big elephant in the room is that congress is the ones that make the rules and not the president. You got to blame them some time. Edit: by fair claim, I mean putting it all on Reagan. I do not mean congress. I have seen for so long the republicans claiming that they were financially accountable and yet there has been only one U.S. president to get the debt down to 0. He was a democrat. Bill Clinton did a fabulous Job in lowering the debt and will always be my favorite president economically. I honestly believe we are in a mess. Government is indeed too big. There needs to be a bipartisan oversight of it. I just don't think. Taxes also have to go up! I'm sorry to say that but it is what it is. It is going to suck when the Generation Xers get into power because the baby boomers probably won't do what is needed to get rid of the debt. Try as they might to say we shouldn't pass the debt to the next generation. That is what is going to happen.
Yeah, I'm still amazed by the dumbasses who still swallow hook and sinker the false messages as they are being fed. Consider yourself lucky for at least being informed. I wish I had a dollar for everyone I have met who do not know the issues.
