During the campaign I watched local news all day, taped two nightly newscasts while watching the third, then watched the other two, read 4 papers a day, skimmed the internet, regularly tuned into 3 different news blogs every day, watched CNN & MSNBC, watched a lot of PBS, every Sunday caught This Week, Meet the Press, Chris Matthews and Mclaughlin... and I STILL learned about stuff for the first time on Daily Show & Colbert. Which is really sad.
Bravo. Whether its MSNBC of Fox "News", they're all fucking jokes. I only trust freelance journalists these days. BTW, if Texas and all these Southern states want to secede, they shouldnt let the door hit their fat asses on the way out. They're a burden on the rest of the country anyway. They receive so much federal funding for shit such as natural disasters, terrible education systems and defense appropriations. These things come out of our taxes and for a group of people who supposedly are ardently against high taxes, they sure talk a good game when it comes to taking money that isnt that. 88% of the nation's GDP comes from non-Southern states so if anything, they'll be benefitting us if they leave.
