"I only date black men" is a lie?

Was on blackplanet.com's chat room last night, and we all know that there is now a lot of ww on there, and was really just observing conversations, had a private one as well. And the ww who prefer bm on there, that had said it in a way, which was soemthing to the effect of "I don't date whiteboys", "I only date bm", "I love bm", etc. really got slammed by the brothas, but not for dating bm, but for lying. A lot of the brothas reponses were mostly "yeah right", "whitegirls be lying about that shit", "brothas don't buy that no more". Now I know about those ghetto whitegirls that date whiteboys only or both, but I aint really never heard about those whitegurls that lie about being down with the brothas.

So have any of the fellas on here have encounter or something those type that say that they are bm only, but have been outed as it being a lie?

 

I have not run into that,but I think that some folks do say that for reasons unknown. I find it suspect when anybody says that they just date bm ww or whatever, Some people just say that so that they can bag that man or woman then move on to their own race for married.

It's a sales pitch. Call it playing to or tickling the ears of their audience. I don't think it has sunk in for most black men that white women who date interracially have figured out their dynamic, or "game" so to speak, quite well.

They say "BM only" because they know that's what black men love to hear. In general, black men know they can't compete on equal footing against white men with white women. So they need to be told they have some other unique advantage that overcomes that deficit. What easier advantage is there when it's the woman herself who is a slave to chocolate?

They are playing off of black men's insecurities about dating white women.

 

Actually...that is a cheap imitation of "game." A black man that is into IR is likely open minded to begin with so hearing a WW say that she is ONLY INTO BM may not be what a BM necessarily wants to hear. Her close-mindedness might favor him but its still close mindedness nonetheless. As for black men competing with white men for white women...the same could be said for white men competing with black men for black women. You generally will have the inside track with women of your own race...that has nothing to do with any inherent qualities of any race of men.

It could be a sign of self-hate. If a BM jumps on top of a building and says that he loves WW and he is "ONLY ABOUT WW" that is seen as self-hating (by many not all)....the same logic could be applied to a WW...doesn't mean that she really hates herself/culture but it is something that should be looked at with a little caution.

I don't necessarily agree BM can't go toe to toe with WM. Maybe the ghetto thugs can't, but successful sexy ones certainly can reel them in.

I think there is a certain overzelousness certain IR bros have about WW. I've literally seen BM get mad at the site of a WM/WW couple, like as if the very thought of intra-racial ness is a racist affront. They seem to forget the genetic truism of that being why WW are here in the first place.

Let's be real here, in a truly open world, BM would still only get so many WW, since the world has 4 races. I don't see any of you standing up for Asian men not getting white women? When is the last time you saw a AM/WW couple? I don't think BM have too much room to complain.

I experienced white females who say they only are down with bm and don't be lying, so it aint all of them. I just never thought there are ones who would lie about that, because it don't make any sense, knowing brothas only see that as an add to the attraction nothing big. So that is actually weak game to get with a brotha, because if they aint feelin you, you could say it a million times over and it won't matter. A lot of Bruthas are just cool with hearing that, just means to us you are not afraid to voice your preferences, no shame in you game, thats all. So lying about it doesn't make a lick a sense, and just makes you out to be a liar, and knowing relationships with trust now days, they just probably fucked up the trust.

More often than not with women that say that, they become a pundit for Black Culture and if you don't measure up to something they saw on TV or in a Rap video, you are somehow not connected to "Black America" and your an "Uncle Tom"

There are woman that date exclusively but they don't announce it and I much rather have it that way.

Besides if she found you on a site like this or any other site that has open IR relationships on it, then DUH, she doesn't have to say that, I think you already know unless you live under some rock.

This is an interesting topic. I date bm and wm, though I've dated mostly bm since I've moved to the South. All of the bm I've dated have alluded to me dating only bm at some point, and I've explained each time that I date bm AND wm. Each of them have a genuine look of shock when I tell them this.
One bm actually argued with me, and said, "But have you dated any wm since you've been dating bm?" and I had to say, "No, not really." I think some men and women take too much stock in the old saying, "Once you go black, you never go back!"

But chosen one is right. Any person that ONLY prefers women that DONT look like themselves, is indeed a self hating individual. In fact i currently know a white guy that only dates black women......His reasonning??..He seems to have issues with his own skin tone. He even told me the other day that "atleast you can have a kid with ww or bw and your kid will still be black". I then asked him, dont you want a baby that looks like you??...lol. He said he can never date a white woman. There are tons of sexie ww trying to hola at him, but hes always like "shes too white"..lol

The same shit can be applied to ww who exclusively date black men. They are self hating and generally dont want children that look like themselves.

 

Not all the time, most of the time it is simply just because they are attracted to the opposite race. People can't help that and shouldn't have to date someone of their race to prove that they are not self-racist and vice-versa. That is the most unnecessary way to prove to someone that you are not prejudice. That is like saying Im homophobic, because Im not gay.

I have a friend who is Chinese and right now he's dating a ww. I don't think that Asian men/white women relationships are all that rare. It's probably more common that black men/Asian women.

 

Perhaps....a lot of it depends on where you are. For the U.S. at least...Asians seemed to be concentrated most heavily on the West Coast so I'm sure that there are a lot of Asian/White pairings......where I live....you will see some AW/WM pairings but I've seen more AM/Latina couples than AM/WW....but it does happen.

The Attraction........

I welcome a white woman who dates black males exclusively if black men are indeed her preference as a first choice and not a back up.
It's wise to check into the psychology as to why the exclusivity;and if you hear signs of self loathing or irrational ideas being stated that distort reality, ie, anything a black guy does is okay where as anything a white man does is NOT, then I am cautious.

I am not into white women who display affected speech and mannerisms trying to mimic what they think a black guy will respond to.That kind of ruins it for me.

But why knock a person if that's what they honestly feel?It's okay in my book if the root of the feeling is sincere.It's just that my flag goes up if the woman is seeking the color OVER the content of my character.


I am seeking content of character with respect to being with white women.I don't think that my desire for white women exclusively and loving my black self for who I am are mutually exclusive ideas at all.
