1. Eliminate poverty, disease (this includes depression and other mental disorders) and human suffering in general 2. Free non-human animals from human exploitation (factory farming, scientific research, zoos, circuses, pet breeding et cetera). Create synthetic meat, dairy and eggs for those humans who still wish to consume these 'foods' 3. Make all carnivorous, non-human animals herbivores 4. Abolish capitalism and the state ; create a politically, economically and socially egalitarian society 5. Destroy every gun, bomb, spear and weapon in the world (I means things intentionally created to be weapons) 6. Terraform planets with a habitable climate for those humans who wish to establish colonies throughout the universe. -I'll probably think of some other things later. What would you do?
Fortunately for you, my friend. Things will take a time to do that. But right now, we live in socialist society, it's not good things, because we're amongst ourselves with powerful, rich people who do whatever what they wants to do, but don't care about one another, that cause me to shed my tears. Now, I tend to believe that those things that you mentioning here, it will happens in 23rd and 24th century. Things will be good again after powerful, rich people will be no more. I know that it sounds star trek to you, but it could happens. To reminds you that it's going to take a time to remove poverty, guns, all of them here on the earth to balance a most value thing in humans. I never understands why our founding fathers said that we have the rights to carry our guns to protect ourselves, but that doesn't matter. We must question our founding fathers who creates those laws more than 200 years ago. It's something that life itself must teach us to teach one other to better themselves in the future. Terraforming the planets will be a challenging issue to discuss for many decades to comes. But people in the congress are in our way, we were supposed to be on mars already right now to explore the life there. So be patient, my friend. Time will comes once poverty comes to an end, where humans can live freely anywhere they wants to.

How would you eliminate mental illness exactly? And stop non-human animals from eating meat? A lot of animals are carnivores by nature. And if you're going to stop non-human animals from eating meat, even though it's in their nature, why not stop humans from eating meat since they actually have the mental ability to NOT eat meat? This is a good thread, but are you asking this realistically or not? Because realistically, a couple of your points simply couldn't happen. If we're speaking of fantasy, that's another story.
