If You Were Governor of Your State...

If you were Governor of your home state:

1. How would you balance the budget each fiscal period?
(NOTE: The first question shall determine what you'll have to consider in areas like jobs and what to cut. Assume that this is a four-year office plan when planning the budget and cutting and spending and tax increases).

2. Human Rights?
(NOTE: If you live in a conservative state, then you're free to mention Gay Rights and Abortion as well. Liberal states can further act on these laws and can change them if they so well do so. Also, you can include religion, drug legalization, etc.)

3. Environment/Energy?
(Wildlife preservation and also will you focus on green, clean energy for your state? If so, what measures will you take to help take care of your state while slashing the state deficit?)

4. Education?
(Increase funding for higher education? Or place greater emphasis for trade work?)

5. Job security?
(With unemployment being high in various areas, how will you guarantee jobs will come to your state? And what measures will you take to decrease unemployment?)

6. Crime?
(Increase funding for prisons or correctional facilities? Or hire more law enforcement officials to help with the streets. Also, would you favor or not favor programs to get criminals from off the streets and be better contributors to society?)

7. Other concerns? (Self-explanatory)

Also, I like to take the time for you to get your Appointees settled for various roles in your Administration. Pick anyone you like on the WhiteWomenBlackMen forums on any role you like to assist you in your political endeavors. This should be fun and interesting. And I hope to hear from you all as soon as possible. Some examples of appointments are (and not limited to):

1. Senior Advisor
2. Department of Education
3. Department of Energy
4. Lieutenant Governor
5. Department of Justice
6. Department of Civil Rights
7. Secretary of State
