To all the womendo you still get hit on by white men?

If you are single or were single and the white guy was really attractive...lets say oralndo bloom-like(LOL) would you let him down
or would you go out with him?

To the fellas, if a geogeous bw was giving you signs that she liked
you would you hop on that or keep it movin?

Is BM/WW really your preference? You sure it aint a infatuation or just a favorite that you happen to like in type.

In my other post i kinda made a little mistake. I exaggerated a little. I said that i liked white girls and black girls equally. Well, that's not entirely true. I mean, i'd still go out with an attractive black girl, but in all honesty, i've been hoping to find a white girl instead. I guess in my mind i didn't want to show any bias, favoring one race over the other, and i wanted the playing field to be even among all women, but i just can't help who i like you know. I'd only be lying to myself if i said that i liked white women and black women the same. Percentage wise, i'd say that i like white girls 65 or 70 percent of the time, latin girls (who i hardly ever see, and would be higher if i did) about 15 or 20 percent of the time, and african american girls about 5 to 10 percent of the time. Since i'm in the truthful mood, i'd also like to add that in that 5 to 10 percent of black women, i typically find the lighter skinned, long haired kinds to be the most attractive. You know, like Beyonce, Hilary from the Fresh Prince, Alicia Keys, Ashanti, etc... I still think Gabrielle Union is really pretty, and Halle Berry, and Kelly from Destiny's child... but to me, they're more of the exception i think. But yeah, to answer your question, even though i find myself liking white girls more often, if an offer came along that i couldn't refuse from a gorgeous black woman, well, i guess i'd just have to kindly take her up on that offer.

I do get hit on by white and Latino men. I'm just not interested even if they are handsome. My reasons for dating BM are about more than just the physical. Its the whole package, including what is under the skin.

The gentleman means to say that BW are an undesirable subject of discussion on this board. There are a lot of threads where the gentlemen of the board have been involved in brawls with/regarding BW. WW aren't usually involved.

I don't see a reason why we, as WW invovled with BM, shouldn't mention BW who are our men's mothers, sisters, etc - or our daughters (I've read the post where you mentioned yours! ), even though only partially Black!

By the way, welcome to the board!

When I am around black men I am always hit on by them. So percentage wise I am generally hit on by black or latino men when they are around. I am hit on by white men, too but not as frequently anymore. I would date a white man but if I could choose between two different men I would go with the black man.

I really wonder why these "preference vs exclusion" discussions keep popping up in here so much!!!!...Jeeeeeeeeeeeez!!!!!

preferring one race doesn`t make you stop being attracted to the other(s)...unless there is a reason (trauma) why you aren`t attracted anymore to a particular race...in which case u are stupid and prejudiced, as a few individuals NEVER define the characteristics of a whole group!!!!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmph!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See how mad you make me?????????????????????????? :)

I feel ya. I would personally be lying if I said I didn't prefer white women, though.

Yeah, it's a shame the way they do the Black woman. I got a sister who just got out of grad school, another sister who is a dental hygenist, another sister who has to take her last test to be a nurse and my mother is doing her thing too. I don't know her exact title, but she's over a lot of folks. All of them are eloquent speaking, easy to get along with type of women. Some act like it's just impossible to mesh with a Black woman. I know for a fact that is not true.

But then again you're going to be attracted to whoever you're attracted too. Just don't let the media or any other man (or woman) influence you. One woman came up and asked me that age old question, "So what do you prefer brunettes are blondes?" I'm saying to myself, "How can I prefer either of the two, when all I've been with are Black women." But I answered with an answer and another question. I said "Neither, and why did you exclude Black women? I am Black after all. You don't think that's a little offensive to ask me something like that?" She turned red and shook her head in shame and apologized many times. Later, I admitted to her that I really wasn't offended, and I challenged her to think before she asked something like that. I know she didn't mean any harm by it, but I feel it's a duty to defend the beauty of Black women especially in America. Since slavery, from generation to generation some of those ol' slavery inferiority propaganda has been passed down in the Black community - stuff like light skin is more desirable than dark skin. And a lot of people don't realize how much of an affect oppression has had on us.

I was about to write something like this:

I really doubt it if most of these people in here who keep having these kinds of conversations, can get through their own individual thoughts/choices within a single day, without a second opinion from anyone else (especially in here).
