...when said area is over 90% white?

I would say yes coming from my experience. Since ww outnumber bm, there is less competition for ww (other than from wm).

So as America becomes more multicultural and racially diverse (the US is now 68% white whereas it was over 85% only 30 years ago) will it become harder for brothas to hook up with ww?

 

I think to some degree there may be some truth in that however I've seen areas where the black population is high and there are a number of IR's as well.

The key thing to remember is that populations will flux overtime but there will never be an even distribution of people across any geographic region.
Also the numbers of people will have little to do with who's attracted to who.

If white women only made up 10% I'd still be attracted and if that number changed to 70% my feelings would not increase or decrease.

As far as competition goes, that's going to always be there as well.
If women out number men 4 to 1 some guys feel as if they are going to get lucky because they feel women will lower their standards to get a man. Some women will.
But I would not lower my standards for who I am and I'm sure the women who are truly worth going after will pick up that.
So for the “brothers” that stay on point, they won't see or feel a “woman shortage” anyway because the good women will hold out for “something better”.

I do not think "harder" is the word as picking up women is a very relative thing. It depends entirely on the person. However, i must agree with your first statement. Why? I'll tell you. You know they say that human beings crave most the things that they cannot get. In this case, black men and white women come in. Many white women come up in environments where they are little or no blacks so their "images" of African-American males are limited to NBA, NFL, Hollywood, hip hop, Local News; basically media. These things aesthetically florish black masculinity, a trait loved by women and so many of them cannot wait for the opportunity to even see a brotha. That is why you'd see that many "curious" white women grew up in lily-white neighborhoods because that elusiveness is present. I know this from experience. I've been to states like Washington, Vermont and Idaho where your chances of seeing a black person are as easy as seeing a penguin in Los Angeles. Needless to say, i seem like an overnight celebrity (without all of Twista's acne).

I do not really see white men as "competition" nor any man for that matter so i can not really talk about that. Women are not some sort of race whereby you've got to be the fastest to get the 1st price. There are millions of hot women in America and so i don't need to be in a hurry to get the closest one i see.

I do not really think multiculturalism will have much of an effect on BM/WW ir only that white women might begin to consider "other" non-black men like Latinos and black men might begin to consider other non-white women like Latinas, which is happening by the way. The amount of black male/"other" female marriages have increased sharply since 2000 and has been going up ever since.

Hooking up with white women will be a matter of individualism as such.

Oh and by the way, America is actually 66% white.

 

I came up with this conclusion, but I had not quite articulated it in my mind. How much of the attraction of ww towards bm is based on media hype or the "something new" effect? But then as it was pointed out in this thread, areas where the ratio of black/white is closer to each other, there is also a high incidence of interracial dating between ww/bm.

And that number will keep going down

 

And then there will be no cute white girls left.

That may be true eventually if multiculturalism sustains itself over a long period of time, but that will be an advantage for white women because the brothas will outnumber them

I think a white woman and black man can equally enjoy each others company today. I find the attraction to black men by many white women today because society is more diversified. We do not stero type as much and white population is on the down side. I love the biracial mix of children as well. GOD made us all.

 

why would it be easier to hook up with a white woman then any body else? woman or just womans like guys are just guys.. I have came to the conclusion lately that just look on things in general then by the race factor and stuff...I believe its all how you make it to be..me personally I think some or hard and some or easy simple as that .. :wink:

 

Had never though about that - more IR couples will mean more BM in population.
Also more immigration from African countries will mean more BM.

I don't think it is. I live in a small, about 95% white town, and I just don't see black guys my age around much. I'm hard-pressed to find anyone my age around because most young people left or married young and are consumed by their family lives. The few friends I have are older. I hope to get a job in a more social environment soon so hopefully I can at least have some chance of meeting people my age (preferably mid-20's black single guys ). I went to college in an area that was about half black/half white, and I got approached by bm a few times. Too bad I was dating someone at that time. :evil:

 

Damn easier for a BM to hook up with a white woman than a WM with a black woman... Just my take.
