You may or may not be familiar with the name Jack Johnson.

The bloke was VERY much a radical "cutting edge" figure...*before* it was "cool"..

Now, he comes to the public consciousness yet again (This time courtesy of...a White fella..who astutley observes that Our President is, in fact, a product of such union that Johnson pursued)

It may be a controversy....or...what with *bigger fish* in the universe to fry..it may *not* be..

But it *is* here for *your* consideration to ponder over...

I read about this blog. Loved the comic as well. I first found out about it during the 100th anniversary of his win against Tommy Burns on Boxing Day. Hope everyone on this site reads it and see the artwork.

 

Tomorrow will be the 101st Anniversary of Jack Johnson's win over Tommy Burns and next July 4th the 100th Anniversary of the Fight of the Century between him and Jim Jeffries.
