im all for the working man getting respect. it's time that the poor and middle class stop getting fucked over by mothafuckas with money and power. We shouldn't have to worry about retirement and whether or not we'll make it everyday, just like people that are rich. Whether or not Obama is the man for the job, I don't know.

A shining example that I keep bringing up is congress taking cuts, if they decide to cut retirement benefits for the hard-working military class.

I still don't understand if you serve in the military, you don't at least get 5-10 years of ZERO income tax once you're discharged AND fully employed.

Politicians love to talk about how much they LOVE the military, but they rarely do shit to demonstrate their appreciation and loyalty to that branch of government.

You got that right. The conservatives get their vote and they don't pass laws to make their lives more easier. For example they pay those mercs more than them,have contractors rape them in the pocketbook by charging high fees,giving them less care when they lose limbs,no training for civilian life to get those good jobs,less help on pts,the list goes on. Instead they wave the flag and support private charities whose workload is busting at the seems. The liberals do more for the soldier than any chickenhawkish pol or talkshow host.
