Right now I'm working on my project, it's one year-long project. I was told that they wouldn't read my scripts whatsoever, but I worked my ass off to make this happening, because I love toku shows. So..is there any way that people of Japanese can read my scripts? I want to tell them that I want to work on this project, that is, I'm very serious about this. Those four big companies in Japan right now are, (Toei, Tomy, Tsuburaya, and West Power for the indy scene.) The project I want to hand it over to Tomy, because right now they're doing Tomica Hero Rescue Fire, it's going very well there. So..what should I do???? I don't want to be look so stupid here.
Are is asking if somebody in Japan can read English, or just if somebody in Japan is willing to read your script. I assume at each of those companies, there is somebody there who translates English for international purposes. Japan takes interest in American culture, and America takes interest in Japanese culture. Don't really know how I can help, though.
Like Ajax said, there will be more than one person working for huge companies like that who will be able to read English, of course. But I'm guessing what you're after is the actual opportunity to get them to look at your work. I'm afraid I'm no help with that either. You'll have to do a bit of background info, find out who to contact from each company and whether or not they will be willing to look at your scripts.
