Just wanted to say..

You guys are pretty cool..

I've been on discussion boards for a long long time.. since I got on the net I guess in 99. I've been on IR boards for almost 4 yrs. Each have their own personalities and when you join, it takes a little while to get a feel of a board to see if you will like it.

I know a couple faces here from other boards but for the most part, everyone is a new face to me.

I've been enjoying my time here.. just wanted to tell you all that..

Lets see.. should I say something about me since I hadn't really introduced myself yet? hmm.. well I'm 47 yrs old.. yeah.. I know. old and I don't look it..

oh well.. although I'm sure Whos the Boss can find a wrinkle or two in my pictures to prove it true.

I've been dating black men since I moved to the Los Angeles area in 2000. There were no opportunities in northern MN where I grew up.

I've got three kids back in the midwest and pretty much that is about it.

Any way, its nice to meet all of you. I am glad I found your board..

I'm glad you like it here. I've only been on here for a few months, and I think it's one of the most honest out there. I love and respect all the folks on here and hope we can keep this family growing strong. So, welcome aboard. And 47? That's not old. And no, you don't look it.

 

i am 40 and i guess you and i are the oldest here but you dont seem it, we are just wise dear. glad someone my age is here that I can relate to.

 

It's nearly old, but not too bad. :lol: And, yeah, I instantly took a liking to her style as well.

 

Well I don't want to be referred as the oldest one on here.. but its cool.. I don't mind. I'm on some other boards with a younger crowd. I'd like to hope I still think young. Maybe dating younger men doesn't hurt either.

Any way.. glad some of you guys don't mind my presence. I have been enjoying being here.

That's a good idea Chigirl. I'd like to hear about everybody. By the way QSSassy, i'm glad you came. I appreciate all of the women here a LOT. Us guys, we always have stuff to say and talk about (we'll just talk about any ol' thing if we have to :wink: ), but when the women join in on the discussions, that just makes things so much more fun for all of us. This forum could use a few improvements here and there, but this is by far the most interesting forum that i've ever been a part of. I really enjoy it. :smt003
