He is another African-American Candidate for Senate. Have you heard of him? Have you ever worked with the Green party? What do you think of Jones?

It helps to tell what state he is running in? any how he won't win. He has been shut out from the media.

He's a Green Party candidate. Of course he won't really get much media attention.

I wonder has he reached out to the NAACP. Do you guys think you would trust the Green party more climate issues?

    Green Party/Climate Issues

It's a progressive/liberal position, so I guess you can say, yes. Don't think environmentalists are crazy. Their reasons are quite legit when it comes to the environment.

If the rent is too damn high party can get on the media, then the green party can too.

    Yes, but one little difference...

Environmental concerns are nothing in political mainstream discussion. It's only when you have "oddballs" like Alvin Greene, Basil Marceauxdotcom, or Rent Too Damn High Party come into the discussion and deliver their statements. For LeAlan to even get something, he would have to wrap his whole body in marijuana and suggest that marijuana should be legalized and he'll parade around with it...THAT would get him on the media mainstream.

You have to get the word out. Blacks may have a real chance for power in the Green Party.

Green Party =/= Black People Party

He's just one person and he's actually the more notable African-American in the race for that Party. Don't get me wrong, I like his ideas and if I lived in the place he's running, I'd consider voting for him. However, this is still a nation where two parties rule. A third party would be nice, preferably a progressive wing or two would help balance things a bit. But that third party would get absorbed into another party when it's a yes-no vote.

I think the green party are progressive. You should contact them. With the green party not being dominate yet this is a chance for black candidates to rise from the start.

    Yes they are...to an extent.

The Green Party's mantra has more to do with environmental issues. However, it's sort of safe to assume that they could be socially liberal on issues like abortion and gay marriage OR may take a libertarian stance on them. But really, the Green Party focuses more on the environment, which is crucial to prevent extinction of the human race.

On January 20, 2009, Barack Obama gets elected president of the united states of america from the democratic party.

I think black people already see an avenue for a party.

Ha Ha now that's funny. Sure they elected Obama but look at how they attack him. The left is never satisfied with anything that he does. "Its not enough" etc. Their progressive agenda trumps black always.

Next your gonna tell how Republicans are this and that you may be right. I read on a right wing blog there may be a serect plan to get rid of Steele after the election. I may leave the GOP if this happens.

The Green Party may be a new start for blacks in politics.

There is never a side that is satisfied. Every president has had criticism from their side. The green party will be no different. Instead progressive or conservative it will be what environmentalism i.e. Their environmentalism agenda trumps black always only you know they never had a black president in their party is all.
