i don't think it's wrong for black women to come and "complain" that black men are bringing them up as an excuse to why they date inter racially. hell, that's why I decided to post in the first place (and i'm a white woman!). My first post is in another thread with nilan i think his name was. i stumbled upon it when i was surfing and as i was reading through some of the threads, i thought it was so ironic how this is a site for white women and black men but the threads about black women popped up every now and then and they seemed to be quite popular topics. so can you blame some of the black females for coming on this site and having a few word with the guys here when quite a few of them have so many excuses as to why they date white or the behaviors of black women when this is an inter racial site? so i guess that makes me one of them? a "troll", huh? oh well, just what I was observing.

Wow. I just cannot explain how accurate this reply is. Whilst i am not particularly fond of this whole topic, i cannot hide the truth that i totally agree with this post. I mean, it could not be more true could it? I certainly have experienced first-hand all the things you have mentioned. Read any black magazine, there must be at least one "sistah-gurl" mentioning something about her life and i can guarantee you there will be, or at least try to draw a correlation between her mishap and black men. That, and many others, are reasons why i do not read any of the black magazines such as Ebony, Vibe, XXL, Essence etc. Go to any website, they run over brothas back and forth. Sometimes, the whole thing puzzles me. We supposedly run to white women but they are forced into white men. :lol: Ridiculous. Everything that is wrong with the black community can be attributed to black men, at least thats what our wonderful black women tell us. Now imagine Will Smith or Denzel Washington openly admitting to dating WW in the past and see how many black female fans they will lose. Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets was blasted by black women on a radio station just for saying that he likes latinas and their long, silky hairs. I have heard black women countless times admire non-black males for similar reasons without hearing a peep from anyone. To be honest, i am really serious of the hypocrisy in the black community that i have decided to do whatever pleases me. Not that i have particularly been connected to the African-American way of thinking anyway but when i see things like this, i get more and more disconnected. It just sickens me. I know there are some effortless black males out there but why blame a man for the fact that you have 5 kids, no job or a place to live? Did he put a gun on your head to open your legs while he inserts his penis? I didn't think so. They blame black men for past failed relationships. Sometimes i just think things might have been better if you stopped snapping your fingers, shaking your necks and yelling up and down the place. You want a thug? Fine, have him. Thanks, SardonicGenie. The same goes for you. But, I think that we should save some empathy for Lexington and Diamondeyz. Lexington and Diamondeyz, my comments about bw and those from many others don't apply to all bw, only those have ignored us (good bm), belittled us, humiliated us and even disowned us because we didn't fit their image of the ideal black man. They disconnected themselves from us at a time we most needed their help, when we were trying to go against the odds based on stereotypes and make something of ourselves. Then, these very same types look to "rejected" bm for a last resort after they can't escape the pit that they have fallen into. If you don't fall into this category, then don't fear because the "bw" comments don't apply to you and should stop being affected by them. If you do, then be very worried because you'll have to live with the consequences of your decisions and only you can teach yourself that.

For the record: If you have a problem with how BW or BM or WM or WW feel about you dating whomever you want then THAT is the problem in and of itself. Its like this.
