It's estimated that free tuition to college would cost the taxpayers $79 Billion per year, well the U.S. military budget is a staggering $649 Billion per year (which is the highest in the world by far) if we cut the military budget by just 15% percent we would still have the largest military budget in the world but we could afford to make the dream of a higher education much easier for the American people.
The current employment demands a college education you can not get meaningful employment without it. We agreed to make education free up till high school why not college its no longer elective its a necessity. We pay for it like we would pay for healthcare tax high income earners a fair tax rate and reduce military spending. We found more than 1.5 trillion to give tax breaks to the rich in 2017 why is it so unbelievable to do the same for the common person?

If cost was actually a one dimensional concept then I would agree. Obviously it isn't. That's why we have institutions that charge/cost people even when they can't pay money. That's why prison exists, it costs the criminal more than it costs the taxpayer, otherwise it wouldn't exist. Basic shit Money is simply a medium for exchange. It doesn't define cost.

Check FDR's and Kennedy's records again. Those dudes by today's standards were a part of the LEFT. THey weren't fanatical, but they still were considered extremists by many Americans of their day.
