Millennial flirting or courting for non-Millennials?

Hello all,
A strategic question on romance has been percolating in my head for a while.

I'm a gentleman who is committed to remaining so, and even to mid-20th-Century acts, such as sending hand-written notes and cards. In terms of connecting with someone, I prefer face-to-face, voice, or e-mail if I must. In our social media- and web-centric society, I wonder to what extent my commitment to acting in terms of courtship, in a tradition way, serves me?

(I'm also pleased when I see a woman wear a skirt or dress.)

If there are three 21st-Century courtship or flirting strategies that a gentlemanly brother needs to know, dig, and do, what are they?

 

1. get use to typing.(women of my age like to text)
2. Learn how to use the popular media outlets. (women like to use those)
3. avoid chicks who grew up in the big cities(not worth any man's time that wants to stay sane or didn't grow up like them)

Consider what others suggest to be relevant to the times, but bottom line, stay true to who you are, what you like and what you believe in. There are so few true gentlemen left, imo. Being true to yourself, you will draw the lady who appreciates you and is like-minded in courtship and love.

I'm the same way, not big on Facebook, Twitter, etc.

I'm old school like that.

Not big on sending texts where the spelling is fubar (fucked up beyond all recognition) and simply dumbed down to a kindergarten level.
