I don’t think IR dating is an effective way to fight racism and the more I read some of the ideas floating around this site, I am starting to believe we are all doomed to keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again. I think an IR President and first person would be great but I doubt it will have any real effect on us because we seem to be happy with hating each other. Or maybe I should say happily stupid. For the record I am in no way calling you stupid Sarah23 but I see little hope around this place.
But you get my idea? I think we are very influenced by the media and of course, famous people. Seeing IR relationships gives a positive image. Having said that, I do realise that the media often tries to portray a negative image.

Who knew she would be Miss America? She went to the same high school as me. She was a freshmen or sophmore when I was a senior.
I do not know whom she dated. She was friends with someone I dated. But I never hung out with her. My high school had plenty of ir going on. She never seemed like someone who would be closed off to it. You could really date anyone depending on her type. Such as preppy, urban, etc. That school had plenty of preps both white and black.

I don't even think it's anything to do with that - i personally know many preppy white girls who've been with brothas. The main reason is what i previously stated. I don't know her but even if i did, my best guess is she'd not date a brotha as long as she's up and coming. I know what i'm saying. Heidi Klum got much hate from Victoria Secret because of her husband. You ought to know these things by now, man.
I never said she would not get any backlash for it. But who knows if she is like that or not? Heidi Klum had more to lose and she did not care what anyone said.
Miss America liking Obama does not mean she is into black men, just his politics. If someone has photos of her dating black men I would like to see it . . . but I don't think it will happen, not as Miss America anyway.
I feel really, really good about Obama and I do not even live in the US. It would be such a relief from that puppet Bush that is controlled by the dark lords of Neocon. Hillary is fine also!
