I thought it might be fun to post some funny, sarcastic little vents when you need them. Don't attack people on the forums- you know that will just cause drama.
OK here I go.... WOMEN WHO PUT ON MAKE UP IN THE CAR!!!! Grrrr If your rearview mirror doesnt' offer a "rear view" because you use it as a make up mirror, get out the car and get a friggin cab. If you need to put on your full blown camouflage in the car, on your way to work, it's probably to late anyway meaning all that make up won't help you look any better. Seriously, how can make up put on with dirty fingers between 2 read lights make you look BETTER? Get up 3 minutes earlier and fix your make up at home. If your make up application takes longer than 3 to 5 minutes in the morning consider plastic surgery.
I am a very easy going guy, but there are very few things that I like in this world and a LOT of things in this world that I dislike. For example: A big pet peeve of mine is when couples bring a crying baby in the movie theater..... :evil: Or when women that wear fake hair try to tell me how I should wear my hair. I have long hair and some women can't handle the fact that (being that I am a pretty ass dude, if I do say so myself 8) ) my hair may be as long or longer than theirs. If you are not wearing your own hair, don't try to tell me how I should wear mine, you jabronis!!!!!!!!!! :evil: Ohhhh, here is a GOOD one.....when you drive on the highway or wherever, a vehicle may be going slower than you are. Once they notice that you are trying to pass them, they try to speed up to prevent you from getting in front of them. That really burns me!!!!! :evil: It also burns me when I go shopping or lodging at establishments where customer service is involved (like Wal-Mart, Target, hotels, Sam's, etc.). You will see a customer or guest act and treat the workers any kind of way because they know that they can get away with it. I've had to work for customer service before and by being there you learn not to put down others because they have better jobs or more money.....
Update On that last pet peeve, I meant to say that when you get a really good job (after years of having not so good jobs) you learn to appreciate what you have better and that you don't look down on others (who may be in customer service positions) who don't have the type of job you have. Ohh, and I think the correct speling is "jabronees" It's what the Rock calls you when you step out of line.....
I appreciate this post! I'm a mortgage closer and I speak to a lot of brokers and closing agents on the phone, and I know all about it. When I get a client/partner on the phone who knows how to conduct a pleasant professional conversation, I acknowledge and appreciate it, because so many so-called professionals haven't mastered that art! That's when I start speaking a little more slowly and clearly... :lol: Some of my associates really know how to handle these jokers. The girl in the next cube to mine, Shanel - she's a sister and you know she straightened that nasty paralegal right out! The paralegal had a bad attitude, and when Shanel called her back for something else she needed, she sweetly said: You know I could have asked you for this document the first time we spoke, but you are so pleasant to talk to that I decided to call you back. The lady was quiet for a moment, then said: I don't need sarcasm. :lol: :lol: :lol: One of my more experienced colleagues explained to me that sometimes the brokers try to use "pitbull tactics" without realizing that it won't work when you're dealing with a bank lol. The bank got your money, now you do what you're told and you close the loan and get the money - or the highway. :lol:
OK, today my target for venting are parents.. sorry y'all he he Those big ass, double wide, side by side baby strollers.... tck me off, why can't they buy the one where the kids sit behind each other?? Nooooo instead they have the have one of those big ass things (prefereably brand name for nothing less than a 1000 bucks) and shuttle the brats around while everyone else has to step out of their way or more likely, get stuck behind them while the waddle along on the street. Mom's in their minivans, on the cell phone, while the kids watch movies! Come on, you pick your kids up at 6 pm from daycare, would it be aske for to much to tend to your kids, TALK to them on the way home and ask how their day was? No, they rather plump em down in the car-seat, brain feed them some crappy show and yap away on the cell phone. Thos are the same Mom's that get all upset when a coffee shop owner asks parents politely to watch their kids
