The eagles hadn't played that well in the first 8 weeks, combined lol. They caught my boys sleeping and walked away with the game. Should've been an easy win for the silver and black (on paper anyways). Smdh...crappy day for the Raider Nation :smt090

That's coz Foles wasn't starting. Except for the game against Dallas (when he was playing with a groin injury), he's been playing very well. Better than a healthy Vick, even. Imo.

Niners get back to work this week against Carolina. Will be a tough opponent.

Carolina is on fire this season. They embarrassed the shit out of Atlanta but as much as I hate to say it, I saw the Falcons losing this one weeks ago. Our defense has been suspect for a while now but even the offense is starting to drag. I'd rather see them in the playoffs than the Saints, though.

Foles was a lot better than anyone expected, I think. Hopefully he can keep it up over the season and get the Iggles to the playoffs. Life is much more bearable around Cowboys fans when their team is losing lol.

Yes he was. It's hard for me to put my trust in a true back up though. I don't see him as the long term answer (pure luck plays a factor here a little imo). We'll see how the rest of their season unfolds I guess.

I'm actually digging the cowboys this year!! I'm hoping that Thanksgiving day is going to be a good football day!!

It was a great game, even with the Battle of the Backups. :smt023

He'll get tested over the next couple of weeks. Vick probably won't be back for a while and as for Matt Barkley...yeah. I'm looking forward to seeing how Foles fits into the offense that Chip Kelly's trying to run.

Yes they are. When I saw this game on the schedule I figured it'd be an easy win, but that goes to show you how things change in the NFL. They do some things similar to SF. Will be a tough opponent but i think my guys will still win.

I, too, grew up in Queens. Right near Queens College.

As he is the most consistent player on my fantasy team, I am very concerned as well.

    I hope it's nothing serious.

    That too. LOL.

He's one of my keepers so I'm hoping he'll be playing. Plus, he needs to play so that we can see how good KC really is (or if they've just gotten lucky).

Here's hoping he'll be on the field on Sunday for more than one reason. :smt023

Love me some Cam Newton :smt060 So glad to see him maturing and helping to guide his team to the wins they so deserve! He's a good qb, just needed some time to get his priorities straight.

That team has been lost for a while but Carolina is really starting to come together this season. I can't wait to see them play the Patriots tomorrow night. If they can manage to beat the Niners then the sky's the limit.
