NFL 2013 Thread

I'm excited for tomorrow night, too! Seems like we've had such a string of crappy MNF games, I'm hoping tomorrow changes that! It's hard to go against Brady, but I think I'll be rooting for Cam and the Panthers to stomp the Pats

 

I've noticed that MNF has gotten a lot weaker since it went to ESPN. All of the really good games end up on Sunday afternoons. I guess when they scheduled this one they had no idea that Carolina may actually be kind of good this year. Hell I don't think anyone thought that was going to happen. Their defense has been pretty damn good so far.

 

MNF has getting weaker for some time, that is why ABC ended its run for showing the games and ESPN took over. SNF is now the marquee night to watch football which is why NBC took it over. It will be a good game tomorrow. I'm having a "football hangover" from having to stomach another 49ers loss :sad:

As someone who also hates Tom Brady and the Patriots - how awesome was that game last night? Am I right? LOL. I love seeing Tom Brady lose games.

It was a great game! I couldn't really care less about Tom Brady, but I was SO thrilled for Cam Newton (or as I call him...the future Mr. RaiderLL). Glad to see him come out swinging and take down the Patriots!

 

How can you predict if they'll be good games or not?

I mean, who would've predicted that Baltimore would make a wild run for the SuperBowl and win and then the next year is stinking up the field? Or who would've guessed that Kansas City would be undefeated until WEEK 11?? Or that Atlanta would be terrible? And that RGIII wouldn't be up to his last season form this year?

I think a lot of those MNF games have been the luck of the draw.

 

I like Cam Newton. He's a cool dude. And I love his NFL 60 commercial from last year. It cracks me up every time.

After seeing the Panthers knock off the Niners last week and the Patriots last night, I think that they might be for real this season. Damn shame that they couldn't be in a different division but it's not like the Falcons are going to be anywhere close to the playoffs this year.*
