Yea baby!!! I'm an AFC West girl though, so I'm more interested in who KC picks and bottom line...who my boys (oak) pick!! Cannot wait :smt038:smt038:smt038
I love the NFL Draft, I think people should have parties for the draft like they do superbowl. Even basketball.
I have friends over every year for the draft! I even let one in who's a charger fan...that's how generous/giddy I get come draft time! :-D
Haha I definitely don't try to score points with charger fans...I usually avoid them like the plague. My heart warms during draft time though, and I tend to be nicer than usual. Once pre-season starts though...I become a true Raider fan in every sense of the word!
The Raiders just picked a corner that is recovering from a near death injury...we could've had Sharrif Floyd. I have sympathy for no one else at this point. SO frustrated, as usual. Haha you know better then to come at me with that crap. The only nation is the RAIDER NATION! Chargers have band-wagoners, that's about it.
I didn't see many of his games (I can count the number of BYU games I've watched over the past few years on one hand) but apparently he was a beast so it may work out well after all.
I had to Google him to find out exactly what happened and...damn. I love a good comeback story as much as anyone but I don't like how that is going to end.
Yea. It'll probably end how most of the Raiders draft picks end...with the guy not playing for the Raiders. I feel bad for hating this pick, because I do love a comeback story...but seriously, why did it have to be the Raiders!?
I see what you're saying, sometimes you don't want the DIY kit, you just want somwthing established for quicker results.
never laid eyes on our pick raider l, so won't comment till I see him play, trading down was smart not picking Floyd was smart, haynesworth type knucklehead just wait,,,, we need to move from 42 to about 35-38 hunter wr from ut should be the pick
Interesting take on Floyd. I actually really wanted him or Lane Johnson in our first pick, but obviously I don't get a vote lol. It'll be interesting to see Hayden play. I think they said he worked out for like 16 teams, and many coaches had questions about how he'll be actually out on the field playing (and taking hits) again. It's just surprising to me that the Raiders would gamble on him for their first pick. Hopefully it'll pan out well for us.
lane Johnson will go down as a major busy trust me, sometimes I wonder how some of those scouts get jobs, tell me the last converted off lineman ever worthy of the 4th overall pick?
I was thinking about that. I think the NFL should allow the owners/franchises more creative freedom of their websites. On mine, I would have section for the fans. IN this section, you would be given a random;y generated survey (time limited to prove your knowledge of sport, team, and loyalty), and you would be able to provid some level of input. In essence, a fan created scouting report, free advice. There are a lot of fans out there that know what they are talking about. I understand we pay professionals, but this would be unofficial, kind of like, um, going to town hall meeting. Plus the fans would be having fun, even more engaged and so forth. There is power in numbers, and if you have 60k people out of 100k people telling you that they think this guy would be a great pick, well, numbers don't lie.
So you don't like Floyd and you don't like Johnson...who did you want the Raiders to draft with their first pick? I think it's interesting Johnson went 4th...not saying he should've gone that high but I do think he'll be productive in the NFL. However, I thought that about Jamarcus Russell too, so take my opinion wth a grain of salt lol.
That's such a cool idea! I'm definitely no professional sports person, but I am a football fanatic, and I'd love to play online and put my two cents out there (kind of like what I do in this thread lol)! I would imagine engaging the fans more would only benefit the teams! Nice idea sir
