How about that Bears/Cowboys game last night?

Aside from our porous defense :smt012 (what can they really do with all of the injuries, though), our offense is FINALLY lighting up the field. It's been spectacular to watch McCown and all that he's doing for the Bears. And I was so happy for McCown when he ran for that TD. He deserves it for how well he's been playing for us.

A friend of mine and I were texting back and forth today and he mentioned that Chicago is like the only city that is not missing their starter. I thought about it and it's true. Green Bay is crying for Rodgers to come back and here in Chicago we're just like: hey, Jay, no worries. Take all the time you need to get 150% healthy. Really. It's all good.

LOL.

After last night's game, I had to finally concede that Chicago doesn't really need Cutler. We have enough weapons on offense and a capable QB (though he's no Peyton Manning and is not a viable long-term option given his age).

It'll be interesting to see what the Bears do about Cutler in the off-season.

Maybe not so much anymore after their loss today to the lowly Vikings.

 

Meh. Nick is still cool. Our defense is another story.

Charger/Raider game tomorrow...this commercial only gets airtime once a year, but I still smh every time it comes on. This city is comical, to say the least

Shady's gear heads to Canton

'One of the most memorable moments Sunday came when McCoy hurdled Detroit safety Louis Delmas en route to a touchdown. McCoy said that he and Delmas are friends who train together in the offseason, and that in a TV timeout earlier, "I said, 'I'm comin' now. Tie up your shoelaces. I'm coming' . . . He said, 'You ain't shaking me, Shady! I'm shootin'. I'm shootin'. (That is, firing at McCoy, rather than waiting to be faked out.) So as I'm getting the ball, I see him, and he sees me, and I give, like, a jerk, he comes, and I jump over him." 8)

McCoy explained that "the best part was, when the big guys would hit me, it'd be like I was falling on pillows, because of the snow. The impact of the hits wasn't as hard, because they weren't running as fast."

... Co-host Anthony Gargano wondered if McCoy would be buying Christmas presents for his o-linemen. McCoy recalled Edgerrin James telling him James had promised the Arizona offensive linemen "new Hummers" one year if he gained 1,500 yards.

"Now, I don't know if they were off-the-lot new Hummers, or they had a few miles on 'em, but I'm like, 'Maaaaann!' " McCoy said, in the manner of a man who knows what new Hummers cost, and how to multiply by five. He said he was thinking in terms of vacations or Rolex watches. IDK, he did put up 30 points. Five other teams that day put up 30 and lost, also. That's normally a win for a team.

LOL, girl, what game were you watching? No Defense could withstand each of those pooch kick positions. The pressure on them almost midfield (to play perfect each down) was ridiculous.

LOL! I'll always feel the same, and the Bears will be winning tonight. I have a crystal ball and it told me the Steelers, Giants (yeah, right, LOL) and Bears will all be winning.

Bookie heads back to dreamland where the Steelers and Giants have an actual chance of beating her team's divisional opponents today.
