NFL 2013 Thread

It's not a 'prefer over' for me... two entirely different sports that I LOVE both for their own incredible-ness! I can't pick between my babies :mrgreen: (though the NFL has been spectacularly great to me! )

I'm enjoying the football season, as well. its been a ride! Now we just gotta keep the momentum up through the playoffs. No room for complacency now...have our work cut out for us!

Going to baseball games is fun, but I just can't follow the entire what feels like 300 game season. IMO, they play way too many games and the playoffs and World Series take a ridiculous amount of time. Because they can never go 3 and out or 4 and out, they have to extend the series for as many games as the series CAN be.

I just find the whole baseball season obnoxious. LOL. I really don't know why.

They play 16 games in football, so every win and loss means something. It's just not the same in other sports where they play nearly a 100 games to well over 100 games (baseball).

I call myself a Cubs fan, and if they ever do anything other than being the "lovable losers", I will be happy for them and watch any playoff games they're in, but I just don't see myself paying that much attention to the season or any regular game.

I'm a fan of all teams Chicago (except the White Sox, LOL), and I'm happy for any Chicago team that wins championship games, but only football seems to excite me and entice me to watch and follow the season.

As long as the Cowboys are out, I'm happy. Their fan base consists of some of the most insufferable people on the planet. There are some cool ones here and there but the bandwagoners make me want to knock over a table.
