Happy Retirement, Brian! You were awesome. Bears fans will miss you, but I believe you made the right decision. I hope you get that SuperBowl ring as a coach (hopefully for the Bears). You deserve a ring. Chicago will miss you...but I'm grateful you're retiring as a Bear. It's the way it should be. :smt023
It's a Miracle! Timmy got a job... http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story/_/id/9362801/tim-tebow-sign-new-england-patriots-sources-say :smt059
Lol at "it's a miracle" :smt042 Seriously though...if there is a coach alive who can get this kid playing at his highest possible level, it's belichick! I'm happy for the kid. I hope he takes advantage of every second under Tom Brady.
I agree, I don't see Tebow under center, but he's got more that he can learn in NE (even on the sidelines) than he ever could've in NY. Brady's not going to play forever...is it even remotely possible that belichick sees a real potential in this kid at QB? I trust him more than 95% of the other NFL coaches, so if he does have a sincere interest in growing Tebow, this could be interesting to watch!
I had to laugh @ 'trust over 95%', being the conniving cheater that he is. IDK about him wanting to grow Teebow - he seemed disinterested, even irritated, in discussing him at all. I put this signing influence on OC Josh McDaniels who originally drafted him, and Bill giving Josh the respect of his knowledge of Tim. Plus he's an upgrade from 3rd stringer Kafka. The contract terms stink for Tim, too.
Haha I meant I trust his experience as an incredible NFL coach. I fully trust him to make Tebow the greatest qb he can be (if belichick is engaged in the process). Honestly though, belichick seems disinterested and/or irritated in most of his conversations, so I'm not sure that's really necessarily reflective of his feelings of Tebow I agree it was McDaniels doing though. It'll be interesting to see how this season unfolds for NE!
I think she means that she trusts Belichick to develop Tebow as a...whatever it is that Tebow will eventually end up being. As long as he stays as far from Atlanta as possible I'll be fine. Still, with Brady and Mallett there he probably won't even see the field this season, which may be a good thing.
Ding ding ding!! You feel me love Lmao about keeping him away from Atlanta! As much as I verbally try to support the kid...I don't want him anywhere my rebuilding team!!
I know what you meant, lol. I'm was merely laughing @ the words "trust" and "Belichick" - "especially over 95% of coaches" being used in the same sentence Bill isn't feeling Tim. Mike Silver's sources told him before he signed with them that "Bill hates him", which Bill has since vehemently denied. Anyway, no way in hell is he going to spend his time "developing" Tim, lol. That'll be left to the OC, trust me. Tim is Josh's baby.
Yup! ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ PAT's Owner, Bob Kraft explains his decision to add Tebow.... ************* “If you want to win in this league, you need quality depth management. In the age of the salary cap, whenever you can get a competitive, first-grade person to join your team, you never know what happens. But for me personally, having Tim Tebow on this team, he’s someone who believes in spirituality, he’s very competitive and works hard and has a great attitude and he’s a winner. “Having him as part of our franchise is great but he has to compete just like anyone else. We’re blessed to have a lot of people like that, but the fact that spirituality is so important to him is very appealing to me.” On Tuesday, Bill Belichick had said signing Tebow was a team decision, and it included Kraft’s input. Said Kraft... “Look, life is about collecting good people around you who you like to have with you and who want to win. I think he, like many of our other players, fall in that category. You can’t have enough good people around you. He has the added dimension of spirituality being so important to him, and that personally appeals to me a lot.” ********************* Quite a powerfully influential conviction there from the team's OWNER! :smt059
:smt042:smt042 Eagles all day over the Lions! I still have faith in Vick (and I have faith that he'll be the starter)! Or maybe its that I have less faith in the Lions?? Either way, eagles > lions. That's my official pick Off topic...I'm so ready for fantasy football, I can taste it lol!
