Lol the Raiders have some weaknesses but I wouldn't have put anyone behind Jacksonville. Um, much love to all the Jaguars fans out there. This too shall pass.
There's a few teams I'd realistically put the Raiders ahead of! Yeeeeeeaaaa baby! I'm so ready and ridiculously pumped for this game! The Coliseum will be able to hear my cheering from all the way down here in San Diego!
As the worlds most vocal charger-hater, I love the Giants because they have Eli Manning. And we all know what Eli did to the Chargers during the draft prayer, so...yea...I'm a Giants fan! They looked pretty good today! They're usually a force to be reckoned with, and I believe this season will be no different! I picked up Victor Cruz last year in my fantasy draft, and I'll be going for him again this year!
Sweeeeet! I had Cruz last season too! I almost traded him for Hernandez and Nate Washington, but I'm glad I stuck by him. Besides that fumble by Brown, I'm pretty happy with what I saw today. I never would imagine you as a charger hater lol. I'm not so fond of them either, so it looks like we are really going to get along this season. :freehug:
I had Cruz all season, and Wes Welker...and I had a Raider WR on my bench that I started more then I should have because I swore he was going to perform...ended up regretting it each time! I actually had more success with my TEs...I had Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski...those two combined with two great QBs, and the best kicker in the league (Janikowksi)...I was sittin pretty As for the chargers, I dislike the team and I dislike the majority of their fair weather fans. That's just the way it is! It sounds like you and I will be just fine this season!! Outside of the "F*ck the Chargers" shirt I posted, I think I've remained pretty calm so far about that team! I wish them nothing but success in their 1-15 season this year :smt061
With the REAL season soon to arrive, if anyone here or someone you know is planning on going to a game, this is a NEW NFL wide rule, so please heed it. Thanks. Women can have an additional small wristlet purse for feminine products.
Another season ending injury...I think he tore/dislocated every part of his knee :smt009 http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/dustin-keller-miami-dolphins-out-for-season-knee-injury-081813 If I'm not mistaken, I believe Denver (who looked terrrrrrible against the Seahawks) came away with injuries to Champ Bailey, Wes Welker and Louis Vasquez, not to mention Derek Wolfe's neck injury (thankfully he's ok). To lose those first three in one game, you know Denver fans were like... If Denver gets back on track, I still think they'll be a force to be reckoned with. Speaking of Seattle though...am I the only one who's been sleeping on them?? Where the heck did that D line come from? And special teams? I mean I knew Russell Wilson had an arm, but he even looked better than usual to me. They were scoring every which way against Denver...it was crazy, and certainly not how I predicted the game to unfold.
oh oh, lol, Houston we have a problem... ‘My purse, my choice’: Women take a stand against the NFL’s no-purse policy "So as you know, the NFL has put a ban on allowing any purses much larger than a cell phone into football games this ye - what, you didn't know? You heartless troglodyte. Maybe try listening to your woman for once. Or maybe try actually spending time around a woman in the first place. It's not all about football, you know. ANYway, the first two preseason games have seen long lines as women first learn of the no-purses policy, then rage, then surrender their purses to be checked in, then long lines after the game as they wait to reclaim their purses... NO MORE, say these ladies in the video below. No more tacky clear bags! No more giving up the purses full of coupons, gum, assorted electronics, more gum, et cetera! "My purse, my choice." Take a stand before you get to your seat! Or something like that. (And, yes, this is satire.)" Lol I know no diehard fan who relaxes at any point during football season. That's what the last 6 months were for!
LOL, the die-hard fans I know - including myself - KNOW that no coach in his professional right mind would ever show his full bag of tricks in pre-season game #2, that the games are to iron out the kinks and make their picks. This is why we fans chill until kick-off, when the games count. :smt025
