I really appreciate the fathers trying to instill the greatness of both cultures in the children, rather than the bland, hypocritical, highly one-dimensional view most in the U.S take. In case you didn't know, there are Nigerian communities in countries other than England and France. There are sizeable proportions in Ireland, Scotland, Holland, Belgium, Austria, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and even Russia.
It would be so much better fixing up Nigeria instead of following white people to the ends of the earth.. People don't go to Finland or Sweden to see Nigerians..and People don't go to Nigeria to see Swedes or Finns.. Amen brother! Ever notice how the people defending immigration both legal and illegal mindlessly repeat the same tired old cliches about being a nation of immigrants, and how they do the work we won't do and other nonsense. They neglect to mention that we allow many thousands of immigrants into the country legally every year. Many of these immigrants seem to have a problem with the concept of assimilating into our society and becoming Americans. They want to keep their own language and culture and be catered to. If they are not interested in learning the language and customs of the country they have entered to live, then they should go back home and stay there. Apparently some of them are doing just that, because our own economy is slowing down and our country is actually starting to enforce it's immigration laws, and so many illegals are returning to their home country. Why can we get people to understand that when you don't enforce the laws of our own country, these immigrants are going to see our laws as a joke, and feel they are not obligated to obey them (like the rest of us have to). We are attracting people into our country who do not respect our laws and feel they don't have to play by the rules. Why would anyone think such people would make good citizens? These people come here with attitudes like they are entitled to this or that, and if they don't get what they want, they protest! Oh and by the way, did you know that in Mexico, illegal immigration is a felony punishable by up to 2 years in jail! They complain about the fact that we enforce our own laws which are much more lenient, while their laws are much harsher. Mexico wants to dump the people it doesn't want into our country so they don't have to take care of them. Why should we allow the government of Mexico to avoid their responsibilities to their own citizens? Their political leadership consists of people of "Castillian" ancestry, which means lighter skinned Europen Spaniards! The more brown skinned Mexican are looked down upon by the wealthy ruling elite families and do not get into top positions in the Mexican government. Mexico is a country of violent, corrupt, hypocritical people who do not respect the US, because we don't even have the backbone to enforce our own laws. What about the ones who worked hard to become citizens? They take the tests in English and waited in line. The illegal immigrants think they can jump in front of that line with no repercussions. Not only the Mexicans be deported but, the Polish,Irish,and other nationalities as well. Anyone who is in the US illegally has got to be kicked out. However,I will not hold my breath since the supporters of illegal immigration are big business interests and the activists.
