It's funny, she feels some type of way that I like white women but then she also has a skin complexion superiority complex. Get's disgusted that I find dark skin women attractive. She loves light skin women tho.

Europeans tend to go by nationality more, rather than ethnicity. Besides, they were considered non-white, along with many other Europeans that migrated into the States, like Irish, Germans, Scottish, and even those of Eastern European persuasions. Of course, even the Japanese were considered white before WW2. So no, the concept wasn't limited to just Europe. And to make it more amusing, even American blacks, who established businesses could go to South Africa and be considered "Honorary Whites" during the Apartheid.

And to add, the KKK didn't want any of them to join since they weren't considered "white." All which points out how pointless the concept of race is as a whole since they couldn't make up their minds. When Jews are considered white someday...we'll eventually have to revisit this.

The first Latina I had fallen in love with(more like had an unrequited love for) was Puerto Rican. She didn't go out with me but she did ask me a question about my failed dating history in high school. She asked, "Were any of these girls white?"
My reply was that most of them were white. I have met a couple of Latinas who have dated, married and had children with black men. The best place to meet a Latina, looking back now, was(perhaps still is) the basketball court. There are a lot of Latinas, black and a few white women hanging around to watch the guys play ball.

The Mexicans, who had their artistic, culinary and architectural influences from Spain remained, but all the rest went to the government. It is all a territorial pissing match over everything. I had once seen a Puerto Rican and a white guy at a carnival get into a fight over a girl. It was so bad it kicked up a cloud of dust. It ended rather quickly, though.

 

That's because the latino gangs in texas and LA are mexicans.

When I was a corrections officer, I would, from time time, have a spirited debate about law enforcement. The pro-black inmates would assert that law enforcement and the criminal justice system was designed to dominate, hold back by coersion and intimidation and destruction of the black community. Any black man who becomes a law enforcement officer is viewed as a traitor. I had to tell them that there must be law and order in every community because no citizen needs to live in fear. I have always been pro-law enforcement and have hopes that conditions in the field improve. But, unfortunately, there are a few bad apples that spoil the whole bunch.

I'm responding to the "pull out the white membership" BS. Those that do visit the US without a shred of knowing its history would be a bit puzzled by those concepts. I'm around a lot of these people and they all tell me the same thing. I'm not implying that racism is nonexistent in certain areas of Europe. Far from it. But the "brandishing the white card" is a bit too absurd and silly.
