Okay had to weigh in on this one given the fact that I don't run around chasing conspiracies at all but another "given" is the history of this country & it's various institutions like government & law enforcement and their treatment over the years of minorities, women, poor people, immigrants...etc. then it's understandable why people react the way they do IMO to tragedies like the Sean Bell case AND especially like the case in Portland that I just posted about. I'm sorry to say it but I believe that when it involves the police vs black or brown males, the bullets:smt071 and/or beat-downs :smt021 start flying a lot quicker than normal.:smt011

As far as Skip Gates is concerned that's a dead issue now & for the record I would probably raise some hell too if the police were following me up in my own dayum house for no good reason. I may not have handled it like he did but I definitely would have made a call to their superiors and/or complained about it to somebody if I felt I was wronged.:smt019

Fam I completely agree with you on the Sean Bell situation but the Gatea thing was on him. The cops were just responding to a call about a burglary. He's the one who made it about race and got arrested for resistancing.

Not disagreeing with you on that but I was just speaking on how I could empathize with him on that one.

Oh ok I totally see your point. Last thing I want to see after a long trip are the cops.
