No doubt. I had a major shift going from full-time lobbying to student. Definitely took some getting used to.
I keep hearing there's an oversaturation of lawyers yet I keep seeing everyone I know who goes to law school working and making big money. Maybe because I'm in NY but hell move on out here and pay that super high rent you'll be able to afford it counselor lol
I know it sounds about as sexy as a strangulated hernia, but I'm hearing that insurance company work is a growth area.
I use to entertain that as well, my aunt is an accountant for one of the big firms in CT. Good money LONG hours though, like never not getting emails. You might actually like CT very IR friendly in my experience if you aren't dating old money which is a lot of CT lol
The only way I would get any PhD is if it were free. Need the option of leaving it off my resume in instances were I would be deemed "overqualified." Sometimes its good to be able to play a degree as a hole card. lol
Maybe I could spend my summers up there, lol. I want to throw every degree I have at them, and if they say "overqualified" I'll say "wait, I'm willing to settle", lol.
You people know damn well a PhD or JD will leave mcdonalds as soon as a higher paying opportunity arises, don't even trip
Not the US, just Obama. The Reds want to keep people stupid so they'll keep believing their right-wing bs.
