Obama's Katrina: The Oil Spill

Electoral votes per state in a Presidential election are awarded to the winner of the popular vote in a given state.

Therefore, the winner of the popular vote in Florida, even if it's by ONE vote, gets all of Florida's electoral votes.

That's why most Presidential campaigns focus on winning those states with the most electoral votes; if you win the 'right' 10 - 15 states that own the highest amount of total electoral votes, you can lose the popular vote/electoral votes in the other 30-35 states and STILL win the presidency.

A beautiful day was spent at the beach yesterday, but as I walked out into the clear water I couldn't help but look around to see if I spot any gobs of oil coming in to destroy our beaches. We know it's coming, we pray that it won't, but in our hearts we know it will. How sad to see the beauty of mother nature destroyed by greed. To watch the marine and animal life taken out of it's glory.
We will continue to go to our beautiful beaches until the day comes that we can no longer enjoy what God has given us, what a sad day that will be. I pray for all who is affected by this disaster, I hope you all join me in prayer for this disaster...

 

u said it. thru all that greed will destroy everything. first will be the naure then mankind. what people dont think about that we will be driniking that oil because the water will evaporate and will then get into the drinking water

Day 58 and counting. The President wanted to kick some ass and he kicked $20 billion out of BP's ass without a cap. Give him some credit. A first step.

 

yeah but the leaking is still going on. that is not his fault but we are pulling the cart before the horse
