Though many so called experts disguised as journalists gave Marquez no chance to win, I was not surprised at all by how the fight unfolded. Marquez is one of the better fighters over the last 20 years or so and no one, except Mayweather, has an easy time with him.

Marquez has the style and, often unmentioned, toughness to counter Pacquiao's strengths.
The decision could have gone either way and I don't believe Marquez was robbed. Great fight by two fighters in the upper echelo of the sport.

Pac was given a gift win....a "win" over the same guy Floyd didn't lose a round to...after a 2 year vacation..

The decision could have gone either way but when you're fighting the Champ you have to be more convincing and leave no doubt.

So then Floyd should be eager to get this fight going so he can whip Pac mans a** then right?

Manny always leaves doubt when he fights Marquez...

The guy that wins the most rounds SHOULD be the winner.

    Marquez won more rounds.

    Floyd's been eager for years...

He agreed to ALL Pac's demands in 09:

    5050 split...despite having FAR better ppv numbers.....agreed
10 million dollar fine for every pound over 147..........agreed
    8oz gloves.....agreed

    Floyd's ONE demand:

BOTH fighters must take random tests..............refused.....chose to run away like a scalded dog(ironically his favorite meal) to fight another Top Rank loser...Joshua Clottey..

Mayweather has done MORE to make this fight than Pacman...

WHAT CLEAN FIGHTER TURNS DOWN 40 MILLION DOLLARS OVER A BLOOD TEST?????

Pac's camp wanted Mosley TESTED.....but DROPPED THE REQUEST soon as Shane demanded Pac take them as well...

    Hmmmmmmmmm.....

He's dirtier than Mark Mcguire's jock strap

According to? Judging rounds is very subjective my friend.

All the HBO analyst as well as 2 out of the 3 judges thought Manny won more rounds.

Yet I can totally understand how you can say that Marquez won more rounds. Most of the rounds were very close and of course the champ is going to get the benefit of the doubt. Thats just boxing. Marquez can cry all he wants but he just didnt do enough to convince the judges and as a boxing fan I have no problem with that.

OK I see that you're not objective at all, and thats cool.

No point in arguing with you.

Hopefully these 2 can fight sometime soon but I doubt that will happen. Floyd is already saying that he's gonna fight in february.

Man, get the fuck out here with shit. What senile ass HBO shill Harold Lederman and those paid judges said don't mean shit. Anybody who knows how to score a fight properly could tell that, at the worst, it was a draw for Marquez.

Of all the boxing writers who scored the fight at ringside, only ONE had Pacquiao winning.

Almost all of the pro boxers who watched the fight and commented on it scored the fight for Marquez.

Even Pacquiao's training partner and stablemate, Amir Khan, didn't think that he won.

Khan also thinks that Pacquiao should retire to avoid the beating that Mayweather will put on them if they ever fight.

It's clear to anybody that knows a damn thing about boxing that Pacquiao didn't win that fight. The only people who are still riding his jock are know-nothings who don't really understand the sport and have bought into the bullshit propaganda that the HBO commentators were spewing. What we saw Saturday was HBO and Bob Arum trying desperately to protect their Pinoy cash cow.

This proved that Poochiao is a fucking hype job. Don't get me wrong, he's a great fighter, but he's NOT the "best of this generation" or an "all-time great" like they're marketing him as. The supposed "new and improved" Pacquiao who's been destroying Welterweights just got handled by a 38-year-old natural Featherweight in Marquez. Why did a smaller fighter do what the "big boys" couldn't? Pac has been given a bunch of favorable match ups against guys who were either past it or damaged from previous wars. All the guys he's fought recently were also stationary targets with poor footwork who played right into his strengths. Dude still doesn't know how to cut off the ring, and he's not smart enough to handle a master counter puncher like Marquez. Guess what? Mayweather can do everything that Marquez can only five times better. He's bigger, faster, stronger, hits harder, has a longer reach and has a higher ring IQ. If Pac ever fights Mayweather, he's going to get clown and exposed.

Mayweather reserved the MGM Grand for May 5th and has called Pacquiao out, but Pac and Arum want no part of it. They're lobbying for a fourth fight with Marquez, and refusing to negotiate with team Mayweather.

LOL @ any of the gullible idiots who believed Bob Arum's paid stooges in the media and put the blame solely on Mayweather for this fight not happening in the past.

Master Freddy laid down the law on this shit. Now, he's out.
