saw it on the news last night, it's horrible. so many lives lost and so much destruction. my heart goes out to them all.
I pray for the people of Haiti. Mr. Sinclair I hope your family is OK there. I will pray for them as well. I will do my part to send something to help out.
I'll pray for them too... This makes me think about the supposed "big one" hitting here in L.A. It's such a scary thought.
This reminds me of when Turkey was hit. I have family there. I was watching CNN and I saw this girl on TV and something made me pay attention to her. I later found out I was related to her. She lost her father and sibling in the wreckage.
This horror in Haiti is unimaginable. The world is going to be tested on what it does or fail to do. Folks tonight I cry for the people of Haiti.
The United States has put forward $100 million for Haiti so far. Tiger Woods will give 3 to 5 million dollars to the effort. China will give a paltry $1 million to the effort.
I saw a news piece (L.A.) about some "supporters" saying that American Airlines and FedEx was offering free airline tickets and free shipment of packages to Haiti though their sites, but that both companies deny this so once again one have to careful of scams taking advantage of peoples missfortune, :-(
