My prediction for the 2012 presidential race. It is a slightly revised map from the one I posted months ago. I am now giving FL to Romney and CO to Obama.

    I predict Obama will win.

I wish him all the mental and physical strength needed to take on the next 4 years. I wish him the fiscal savvy to re-stimulate our economy, and that the Senate support his plans to get our citizens and country up and running again. I want him to succeed and believe he will.

I see it going either way, though just like my vote I say Obama.

At the same time I wouldn't be surprised if Romney got into office by the neck.

I think Ohio and Florida will be too close to call by the end of the night, but...

I have Obama winning with 272 Electoral Votes without Ohio and Florida

Obama will carry the battleground states of

    Iowa
    New Hampshire
    Colorado
    Nevada
    Wisconsin

Those states in addition to the standard blues states should be enough to carry him regardless of what happens in Ohio and Florida.

I also have him losing the popular vote to Mitt Romney due to decreased turnout in NJ and NY because of Sandy. This will be a controversial result but the republicans can do nothing about this because Bush lost the PV and won the EV in 2000.

Which is why it can't happen again. Politics has been completely highjacked by the republicans since that time. Although to my still puzzled mind..bush did win four years later. So again, we can blame him or blame Obama or the tea party obstructionists but the real fault lies (mostly) with the American people and the way they vote.
With, of course, the exception of what happened when bush stole the vote in 2000 and things like super PACS and citizens united and all that greedy corporations favoritism sprang up like daisies. But hey! He was a "business man" too. Hooray!
The fault for those clusterfucks lie with the people in office who made the decision to put money before the people with the voice. Which of course means the fault lies with the people who voted them in (when they weren't rigged and stolen).

I wonder what any of the founding fathers would say if they knew the country was started to escape tyranny of an oppressive church to only come full circle and handed to the wolves in the form of an oppressive Wall Street?

I think Obama will win with a small margin, many of teh battle states seem to go to Obama.
Mitt, the teeth, Romney is a cold turncloak that does not understand the regular guy and their lives. I don't trust politicians but him even less.

I might be wrong but I'm with Geek, it appears Obama might squeek by, unless Ohio becomes an issue.

Barack Hussein Obama better be ready to fix this country.

I just remember driving into work today and Magic 101.3 FM radio saying that if you felt ANYTHING was fishy at the polls to first talk to an official pollworker, and if that didn't bring about positive results, then call the NAACP. I am white, but I still would have followed their advice, if I could have voted. Unfortunately, I am Canadian. So nervous right now. I really don't want to be an American Citizen - but the ONLY reason I would want to be is to help Mr. Obama get back into office. I hope and pray that he will. My parents are the exact opposite. I am so glad I am not with them right now. I am pleading and begging for HIM, while they are begging for a MORMON WHO HATES BLACK PEOPLE. I just don't understand my parents, jumping up and down over ever red state, when my mother was born Canadian - she used to be so kind - and this is supposed to be over "abortion" but they have never done anything for unborn children or unwanted children. They are severely and suspiciously ANTI-MUSLIM, while ignoring that Mormon is ANTI-BLACK. FML. I wish I were born to someone else sometimes. I do not talk to my parents about these things.

God bless dear President Barack Obama and the next 4 years in which he will be able to do many more good things without distractions.

I am astonished by the $100 million Linda McMahon put into two second place finishes for a Senate seat in CT. Most, if not all, of it her own money. Wow.

That blew my mind too. The McMahons must be billionaires, or she's just really dumb when it comes to campaign financing. Or both.

She was running only a state campaign too, in CONNECTICUT. Not exactly the most populous state in the Union.LOL
