QUESTION............. I just recently joined,paid for a membership, and am excited about the possibility of chatting with and meeting white women in a forum like this. I am hopeful this is a quality site with some women genuinely interested in chatting with and meeting black men.
Don't get your hopes up, check my join date. This is mainly a forum for discussion of things, not for hook ups and not for dating. That's not to say that doesn't happen, of course it does. It just doesn't happen to me and you know I don't care. I met women elsewhere for that, I just use this forum to vent every so often or to try and steer brothers in the right direction.

You're forgetting one important point Shenango, and that's the fact that quite a few of those adds by ww are looking for the big black sex bull only (and a lot of them are married!). that in and of itself is a major turnoff for me personally, and i don't know why any other black man would want any part of that either. and the pics that we're posting of ww are mainly just for fun. you know, guys just being guys and stuff. don't take it too seriously man.
The Attraction. Can I just add that speaking for myself, I am not looking for a Pamela Anderson type. When I signed up a couple weeks back, it was because I wanted to be in an environment where I knew that white women wouldn't reject me for the color of my skin, plain and simple. If you see my photo, you'll see that I certainly am not flashy; because it isn't my style, and I'd consider a lady that I'm simply attracted to with a click to be perfect for me. I can't speak for what other people desire, but after being divorced for several years, I felt it was time to invest more into a personal life. Unfortunately in my area, it's been hit and miss regarding meeting available white females that desire both a relationship, and more specifically a quality relationship with a black man. Ultimately, if this setting isn't right for me, time will tell the story.But one would think that interracial friendships and dating are what we all share as a common interest in this forum, right? So, Shenango, I just wanted to say that believe it or not there are plenty of decent black men that are looking for more than just what's on the outside.Cliche maybe, but still true. Thanks.

Beauty, this site is about and for relationships between black men and white women. If you have a perspective to add or would like to contribute to various topics that is fine. But it's not your job to lecture the black men on this site about their dating preferences. All that is true and more. And that is the point. On this site you'll find men ogling photos of models, which is not unusual. You'll also find married women looking for "big black bulls," singles looking for singles, guys who are into white women only, guys who are into white women too -- and the reverse of that. In the forums, you'll find those who want to discuss issues and those who want to create issues -- mixed in with those looking to make friends (or trying to pickup women outside of the personals) and many lurkers. -- In general -- the forums should be for discussion, and the personals area should be for dating. This site is basically split into four areas. The forums, personals, the adult content, and a webhosting option. I don't think anyone has done all four, but for the most part, people will gravitate to one area or the other. We understand this has caused some confusion and so we're in the process of converting the site to a less "modular" structure, with one log-in for all the areas based on membership levels. However, we still want to keep the areas somewhat separate and avoid the typical "dating site" look -- a static homepage with a few member photos and a search option, that is 99.9% personal ads. We want to introduce winks, on site mailboxes, private messaging, and all the bells and whistles you'd find on other dating sites, without losing the community aspect that a fully functional forum and articles bring.

! Ha! When have I specifically targeted BLACK WOMEN? It hasn't happen... I target American Woman in general, since Black women are apart of the problems and not the solution, then your included in those vents and I don't single out anybody, for the most part. This site in general is flawed for meeting people. The personals are not a direct reflection of the people that use this forum for example. I think most of us would be delighted to meet women who were interested in dating. However, the posters more than likely don't have a personal up (at least not here) but several woman have a page on Blackplanet. As American MEN black or white or whatever we have an issue with how the tide has been turned in the US and how some women view themselves as the sex that has been continued to be "held back" by men in positions of power. That's utter nonsense! All you have to do is turn on American TV and look at the examples. Men are presented as bumbling idiots (King of Queens) on prime time TV where if it were not for their superior wife, his life would fall down around his ears, again BULLSHIT! That's what I do here mostly. As for the claim that the men here don't find the female posters attractive, you know I am the kind of guy to comment on that and really don't care who it bothers. I would say expect for a few examples, you can say many of the women here fall into the "Girl Next Door" types. If your into plain-jane women, then by all means start PM'ing them. I'm looking for a "neck breaker", so sue me if that's superficial... That doesn't mean I look a "10" I am not smart enough, educated enough or good looking enough to capture a "10" as it were, so I don't bother. But I can been known to pull an "8-8.5" on occasion and for the examples I have listed MANY times on this forum, I'm not desirable by the top 15 percent in America, boo whoo... Europe here I come (leaving next week) My game is strong enough to pull better in Europe without all the nonsense attached to American women. AW would see that as a slap in the face and that "scrubs" shouldn't be allowed to date the upper 15%. For that I say - As I said before my bank account(s) tells me otherwise.
DJ4monie, Have you been reading tiredblackman forum? Just asking because I have and what you wrote echoes thoughts about AW. I had no idea about these thoughts. I mean I know the state of affairs between women and men is messed up and feminism got.....derailed. Or rather did not turn out how it should have. I can't tell you how many women think I'm crazy for staying home with the children we created. Now I never wanted marriage and children, my opinion, women wind up getting the short end. Staying with kids is the HARDEST thing I have ever done, not an easy job at all, much easier going to work. As they say women have a "shelf life" why would I waste the best years of my life? Because to us, having the mother at home is tantamount. So now I'm raising a girl and a boy. I wonder (more than my son) at the fate of my daughter. What I am picking up on is, to tell her, don't get pregnant....ever.....ALWAYS pay for your own meal....and don't expect the traditional marriage and family.....such a damn shame.... And people wonder at the generation being produced....they are a product of this crazy American culture......and they show it!
