I loved the commercial when they go to an Iron Maiden concert. And the group's lead singer warns everyone not to do drugs or they end up like the group's mascot Daddy.
Remember when the Super 8 films were sold at many department stores? It was not the whole movie, but the highlights. All the good scenes. And they were often silent with subtitles. Some even had sound. I once had a Super 8 version of Star Wars. But it was half of the film. You had to get the other half. You could buy the whole film if you could afford it at the time. This was before VHS/Beta video tapes. These were sold even in travel agencies and camera shops.
With video games, you use to have the full game experience. Fast forward to the PS3/Xbox360/Wii era to current gen consoles, you just have the "base game" with extra content downloaded for a fee, and even with that, constant patches to improve the experience.
