Revenge is Sweet

I for one do not believe Italians have a monopoly on revenge. I believe we blacks are most endowed with it also. My father use to say don't get mad, get even. Revenge is indeed sweet. It has been a major factor in my life in overcoming my enemies. I do not mean killing them, but getting over them. I love it when I beat the odds. Recently, I got my revenge over a co-worker who is out of a job. He tried to undermine me. I ensured that the means that he had to bolster himself thru his production work did not meet the standards since the previous inspector tended to look the other way. Since assuming the extra duty of inspector over his department I ensured that every deficiency was noted due to poor quality control. Yes, I feel bad in that a person lost his job, but at the same time I feel relieved in getting even with someone who tried to bring me down. Revenge is sweet.

 

I think no group has a monopoly on revenge. It's one of the oldest urges in the book.
