Ron Paul to OPEN eyes !

So, Ron Paul is running for pres and it seems that half if not most of the nation is pulling for him !

One of the main reasons I'm a supporter of RP is his stance on people's ability to make their OWN choices on health and nutrition.

2nd I love the fact that he wants to reduce or completely eliminate taxes.

3rd He wants to use a monetary policy that is backed by tangible value !

4th He wants small government...which will make ALL of us breathe a little easier.

5th He wants to ban GMO and stupid regulations on food.

6th He wants to end NAFTA and WTO ! which will encourage businesses to open high paying jobs in America.

everything he stands for I agree with ! There has never been another candidate like him except for Kucinich.

If he wins I think alot of people will be happy...even the people who don't support him will eventually come around to realizing...LIFE is better when the government doesn't control or regulate everything you do.


Even if Ron Paul doesn't win...he is at least opening the eyes of people to things they never knew or cared about, such as the fed and how government spending is hurting us badly.

 

No taxes? So corporate welfare will be intact but social programs will be cut. Oh brother

Some people don't get what government is for. Corporations by definition are meant to get the most profit at all costs and by cost cost to the general public not them. They have and will never do anything in the public interest. They are perfectly ok with liberty for them and justice for none. They are fighting like hell to make this a serf system where social mobility is all but extinct.

exactly, ppl read a couple charles dickens books to see what the world would be without basic protections. the funny thing is, you only have freedom and progress when there are rules. without them the rich would get richer and everyone would be slaves.

Because those dummies think that anything having to do with social programs unfairly distributes money to welfare which they believe is being monopolized by minorities. They think government is only around to be a crutch for minorities who refuse to pull themselves up by the bootstrap meanwhile corporations are polluting the air and the water, they are soaking up American consumership with heavy debts and outsourcing the fuck out of jobs to the third world for pennies on the dollar. So essentially they're all blinded by the "American Lie" at this point, where everyone gets a McMansion and a nice suv and everyone's kid becomes an athlete or popstar with minimal to no work because let's not forget every fucking snot bag is precious and talented whether they work hard or not. They won't get it until its too late. We're in a time warp going back when everyone who wasn't born into wealth black or white will be under the heel of the very wealthy and nothing will change without some type of revolt. The only problem now is that technology has made it possible for the few to keep the masses in check with very little cost to them. They have weapons that can microwave people, how can the masses possibly fight that. So they'll sit behind their high walls while they fuck the rest of us or until technology makes it possible for them live at current standard with far less manual labor. I'm a visionary my friend you heard it here first.

 

ALL of you seem to think PEOPLE are not smart enough to govern themselves. If someone is driving down the road and they see that it needs renovations, PEOPLE are suppose to rally together and speak to the city mayor and ask for a self imposed tax to fix the issue.

People have gotten so lazy that they don't seem to think that THEY are the ones responsible for THEIR community. LAZY people expect the government to decide how to run their communities.

People decide what they need and create a self imposed tax to fund these services.

As far as public housing goes, If Ron Paul wins, he will eliminate NAFTA and WTO..(guess you didn't read my 1st post..or you haven't researched what those policies entail) which would allow America to become a PRODUCTION based country rather than CONSUMER based. Countries that produce, have HIGH living standards. I'd rather live in a country where there will be an abundance of work and NO taxes rather than subsidized housing and welfare....but I guess some folks would prefer to sit around and have the government pay them for having babies and smoking weed.

Also if you were planning on retiring with money you worked for all your life...think again..federal pension in danger...soon private as well.

Not exactly sure what your talking about or what your trying to say but under Ron Paul, if a bank uses predatory lending tactics and said bank fails, there would be NO federal bail out. Said bank would be left to fail for incompetent and immoral practices. Obama's bailout was the nail in the coffin. You are aware that the bailout money went to SUPPORTING the banks not the states..and as I stated previously, Ron Paul does not SUPPORT BAILOUTS PERIOD ! because he believes in a currency backed by gold.

You don't need a federal government to legitimize that. You just need LAW aka The constitution which can be exercised on a STATE level.

If there was a small government..I'm pretty sure 2 planes would have NEVER flown into the twin towers to begin with.

Velkrum lives in this fantasy world thinking that Ron Paul's libertarianism will effectively make this country better. However, reality tells a different story in which Paul's libertarianism will only benefit corporations to royally fuck over the populace with an illusionary idea.

Again, good in theory as in any pure ideology. But in practice, it's a failure.

hate to break it to ya but Corporations ALREADY are doing this people. They are so big they have influence over government. Exactly. People generally cannot govern themselves and the majority of the populace are incapable of being rational adults and act on their own. Noam Chomsky is a brilliant man who advocates such an ideology, but the only people who can pull that off are the less than 10% of the population who lack any substance of delusion or paranoia.
