I hope Ashley Judd will run for the senate and kick that old geezer McConnell to the curb. The geezer stated that his number #1 goal was to make Pres. Obama a one-term president. Well, unfortunately for the geezer, that didn't quite happen. So, it would be fitting that he gets his ass whupped by a woman in 2014.

I wouldn't mind seeing her run. She has the looks and the drive and political savvy to reach for horizons.

Screw her. I have heard her go in on hip hop culture one too many times. She is not on the side of people of color, let alone IR relationships.

So because she's highly critical of modern hip-hop (and rightfully so), she's against black people and interracial relationships?

She clarified her statements on hip-hop in a Global Grind article she wrote.

Yeah...the previous poster's statement made no sense.

Basically. I guess people often ignore certain aspects of commentary without really looking at the whole picture.

What a weird story. She isnt saying she decided to run someone just made a story that she should. But what are her qualifications. Actress and written a few books??!!

She has participated in political activities like serving as ambassador for a YouthAIDS project. You have to start somewhere, right? :smt102

She may in fact run. There are more than a few senators will no political experience.

A glaring example of a novice running for big political office: Arnold Schwarzenegger. He was the worst governor Cali has ever experienced.

Well, a senator is not the same as the CEO of America's largest state. The Senate basically votes yes or no on legislation(or confirms Cabinet appointees and judicial appointees)...it doesn't run anything.

I salivate at the thought of Ashley Judd kicking that right-wing geezer to the curb in 2014.

I hope Ms.Judd does beat Senator Turtle Man but, this state is a conservative one so it would be a tough battle.

I like Ashley Judd, but this would not be a smart move for her. "Loving Kentucky" is not a good enough reason to be elected Senator. She has no knowledge of politics and Mitch McConnell will win in a landslide.

I love this lady. She is of leadership quality that is sorely needed. I hope she runs for office.

Ms.Judd is not perfect just like the roles she played in the movies. However,Mr.McConnell must go. Besides, one of his staff used a story from a comedy blog and used it as fact against Chuck Hagel.
