I cant take any of you seriously if you (on one hand) talk about how much you hate black women but then flip it around to talk about the injustices in todays society. #1 if you want to talk fairness, then be fair throughout.

*the idea is that the existence of this site becomes more about a sort reversed concept where it seems like a sort of objectification happens. it doesnt make much sense to things out. Im having a hard time putting the idea into words but im trying to get at the idea that all women are the same, its disturbing to say one is greater than the other(on a group basis). This is the closest site to the idea of dating out Of your own race that stays very active. I would like to perhaps see a site where its more about people being people. im tired of the fascination, i want people to (although very hippy to say) let the bullshit go and relax. the average human life is nothing but a grain when compared to our current collection of written history.

its not the idea of dating a white woman. thats not the issue, but the idea of objectification is. am i making sense at this point? im not saying everyone here does it, its just a few parts of this community that make coming here an unfullfiling experience.

This is more of a conceptual walk about that i still working out. this is more of a race vs. all races idea....ethnocentrism. i think the idea is total bullsh*t. as in, i think we all view the world in the same way, sure we might date a white, asian, indian(etc) person, but we still have a judgement issue with the "other" person that lives down the street. maybe im jaded, but our concept of race and ethnicity(especially) in america is very stagnant(with all the other social class bullshit)

Ladeba, you do have a few valid points, however your manner of expression leaves much to be desired.

You yourself said racism still exists. Of course it does, any idiot can see that. So should we ignore it, and try to pretend it doesn't exist? Of course not! We need to learn how to deal with it, especially us WW who may not have been exposed to racism until entering an IR relationship.

I don't think many, if any, BM on here hate BW. In fact, I have seen derogatory posts aimed at BW and both WW and BM come to their defense.

Did you know that interracial marriages were still illegal in some states up to as late as 2000? America still has a long way to go as far as accepting people of different race, ethnicities and disabled people. It isn't going to happen overnight, that's not the way humanity works.

I have not been on this site for long, but I have noticed that there is a vast support network for the users on it. Yes, there are some topics, like this one for instance, that are totally ridiculous :roll: but everyone isn't going to get along all the time. For the most part, everyone is very supportive of everyone else, but you unfortunately cannot see that.

Ok, seeing as you're replying and not scampering away like people such as Pearljr, what makes you think people here have problems with black women? People share their experiences on here, and if they happen to be with black women, so be it. Should they not speak simply because the woman is black? There's so many stereotypes flying around about all ethnicities, so that's why this site is good in many respects, as it helps to dispell them by talking and understanding.
