haha This reminds me of why I generally don't travel within the U.S. other than New York, Las Vegas and Seattle. I don't respect the South, most of the Midwest and none of the Appalachian states: Ohio, Pennsylvania, etc. I think he'll carry PA, but OH may present a significant hurdle for him.
I would just feel so much better if people would just come out and say why they really wont vote for him. I believe it was Malcolm X who said that he has more respect for a racist to admit their hatred, then a person who chooses to hide behind it.

I wouldn't give New York too much credit....I haven't seen too many stories of southern black men (in modern times) being shot fifty times by the police despite being unarmed (ahem, Amadou Diallo & Sean Bell). Nor have I heard of any southerners being sodmized with a broom handle by police (Abner Louima). I'd put the northeast a notch above Alabama and Mississippi on the racism front.
