THAT WAS SOOO! DISRESPECTFUL!

Don't know if anyone on here saw Oprah's "Something New"
show on television last week but it is now official we (BM) are the
bad guys.

She had sanaa lathan on the show talking about the movie and
bw dating wm and had little segments about it. Oprah kept it equal
when interviewing real life interracial couples by interviewing both bm, ww and bw, wm couples. But in the end she and sanaa turned it into the
ugliest and false thing I ever saw. it was bad enough that they were
blaming black men for the reason why 41% black women aren't married
sanaa went on to say that 11% of bm date ww(True) and only 5% of bw
date outside their race(some what true it's actually 10) But when it got to
where the hate is Oprah, sanaa and the white guy went on the attack of black men hating when bw date ww instead of keeping it all the way equal including the biggest one bw agaianst bm dating ww. which that percentage was way higher the last time I checked than black men doing it. Bw who opposed bm, ww was 42% while bm oppose to bw, wm a
"Staggering" 9%. Mos tbw are prejudice towards this and no acknowledgement. Lady O maybe lost, but I believe ms. lathan is not and
is nothing more than a hater because the final thing she said was totally ignorant and disrespectful. She said BM, WW interracial couples are more accepted. BULLSHIT. You tell me how many famous IR couples who recieved death threats in this century....BM, WW did. (Taye/Idina, Clarence Thomas and his wife, numerous of athletes, etc.) How many times did you ever hear tell it that a Robert Deniro get flack about his wife, or serena williams' death threats, how many death threats went to billy bob for bangin halle berry (A woman that is loved by black men.)
Shit the first interracial kiss on t.v. was between A wm and bw back in the 70s while the first IR kiss between a bm and ww took place in '96. Who in
the hell is scaring denzel's ass away from interracial with a ww? Hateful Black women. My own female family members don't like my wife.
I can't believe that she made it to oprah spreading those lies and bais at the end of that segment in front of millions of people and oprah supporters. What is bw, ww couples delusional.

I think I found the new hate towards BM, WW Interracial couples....

You tell me how many bw were beatened sometimes to death back in the
day and a few times even now for dating a white man. And compare it to BM. A whitegirl here in my city was murdered about two years ago for her preference in men by her black female best friend. Our Interracial voice has been officially silenced. What a shame.
I wish for this never to happen but whats it going to take for one of them
death threats to come true.

P.S.: Im having touble finding the current percentages of bw oppose to interracial dating. Last time I checked it was 42% back in the fall of last year. Anybody on here know the current results.

Things like that make me angry as well.

I learned to ignore the racist idiots who continuously trash IR, but those who manage to project their own foul behavior onto others still raise my blood pressure.

 

These are my thoughts as well, however, they still hit a nerve with me from time to time with this ignorant and racist hypocrisy, let alone, fabricated details of the 'facts' about what is and isn't accepted in society.

I saw that show. She had one bm saying interracial relationships are wrong. And no bw saying anything. It was a ridiculous show. But being bm we get blamed for everything any way. So what else is new?Personally I could care less. I have what I want out of life and will do whatever I want.

 

So you guys still pay any attention to the whole BM/WW union bashing? I know i dont and it has helped me a great deal even though im not with a WW. I stopped paying attention when i realised its the headache of those who constantly say a thing against it and not mine.

 

While that stuff doesn't get to me anymore, I see it affecting people that are new to IR. I try to help as much as I can though.

 

I think the more we focus on things of our own interest, the less stress we will have about what someone else is doing.
