Funny how that fear only seems to happen with black men but white men who actually kill people get apprehended. And let me also point out I rarely hear that fear excuse come from dudes who served in the military. I honestly wonder why. Listen to Michael Woods talk about great ex cop who is honest about policing.
That's all you've got lol? Would you like to debate my personal experiences? Of course not. You can't refute facts. Now, I know these things never happen in your naive little bubble but that doesn't mean they're not reflective of the rest of the world. One of these days you should dig your head out of the sand just to take a gander at what's *actually* going on.
We would never agree on this so no point in me going back and forth. How dare you, a white woman, try to tell me, a black man, what my experience is. That's racist.
I have seen it happen but usually it's because it was a mouthy one, having attitude, etc. And even then, they aren't as quick to come down on them. I agree with what Raider said, however the truth is - it doesn't even take tears. Usually, when I've been very polite and smiled and apologized they will let it pass. Completely different when there's a black man with me.
My favorite is when I've dated blonde girls and without fail with each one I've been pulled over and they were asked if they were with me of their own free will. Only with blonde women though since they are the epitome of whiteness and beauty to racists. I'm curious that happen to anyone else?
Interesting. I've had the whole - is everything ok ma'am, are you here under your own free will, etc so many times - it's ridiculous. Not just traffic stops, if I'm sitting at a cafe outside, walking through a town, you name it. Don't dare go sit in a park to talk or sit in the car talking. One time I was at the park with my kids playing and there was a dad there with his kids playing and we were talking about kid stuff and laughing and cop rolled up asking. Recently I was in a coffee shop and a man casually said something to me at the next table and police officers were walking through and one smiled at me and asked if everything was ok. The thing that always amazes me about these situations is that it's not like in any of the cases we were arguing, I wasn't crying, no yelling, not even an intense conversation going on. Clearly more lighthearted exchanges if anyone took a second to notice. I'm definitely not blonde.
Geez, that's messed up. Not quite the same as yours but I used to walk female co-workers to their cars when I worked late night at a restaurant, a couple of times customers or a random stranger would stop or slow down their cars to make sure the women I was escorting was ok. Honestly It never really bothered me too much, I actually got a chuckle out of the irony.
Damn interesting to hear it on the other end. I seriously would love to kbow what they think theyre protecting you from
Lmao no where did I *tell* you what your experience has been. You've done that plenty over the years so I simply put the caveat in my previous post that while YOU may not personally experience certain injustices (based on what YOU have stated here before), doesn't mean injustice isn't apart of many black men's lives. I'll make sure to break things all the way down for you should we ever have the pleasure of this ridiculous back and forth again
They made a whole law based on that, the Mann Act. How many blonde women have you dated to be pulled over multiple times? I need to hang with you
Two were first dates the other was a long term girlfriend from Sweden boy was that cop pissed when heard her accent. His dream girl messing with a blackie lol
Yup! I haven't been pulled over for it, but I've definitely has some pause and observe. Clearly to see if the WW was with me of her own will.
