After the primaries this past Tuesday in which incumbents, moderates were being pushed out by the growing influence of the Tea Parties across the nation. Anyone believe that the Tea Party will have a big impact on the national elections in November? Could the Tea Party morph into a third political party someday?

No as soon as they're employed they won't care anymore. They're mostly out of work pissed of people. Get them working again and they'll shut up.

No, most of them are from the republican party. They do not want to leave the party no matter how mad they are. I would love for them to make another party but they will not. This is the term elections. We all know there are not as many voters in midterm as there are in presidential elections. What you see now are the most extreme people on left or right voting. Rand paul is the best example. He seeks to bring down the government. People only picked him because he is not the incumbent. His ideals are terrible.
