This is going to be an interesting week for Sarah Palin's return to the national media spotlight. Already the Associated Press as assigned a special group of eleven reporters to scrutinize her book and be critical on the facts that will hit the bookstores this week. The leftist and the rightist are on a mind war footing to combat each other over Palin to control the minds of the American public, to influence their thinking for the 2010 and 2012 election years. I say for the men to step back and let the women rule on this one. It will be the women who will determine Palin's fate. We are living in a interesting time. This will be more important than giving terrorists a civilian trial.

If she opens herself to the media (not the selected ones) and speak her mind maybe, just maybe the American people can decide for themselves.

The AP had to because this woman did not provide a index. The foolish folks love her where else can a person who was governor and quits her job before her term ends? What a idiot that former pol is.

    Sarah Palin

Palin is a national embarassment. This country is better off without her on Capitol Hill or the White House.

I get exasparated every time I hear her speak.. not only does she express herself like a teenager... she is very poor in her self sensoring.
I cant stand the way she talks and express herself and it has nothing to do with the pitch of her voice or accent. Somebody at her position should be way better at it.

She needs to take serious speaking classes, stop being so darn defensive and stop slinging mud/whining about stuff she needs to take personal responsibility for - everything seems to be everybody elses fault - an attitude I loath.

    .
She seems unprepaired and have lack of insight everytime I see her open her mouth.... and I am not basing this on her political stance whatsoever.. its a general observation.

She is better fitted to be a talkshow host, and Im not trying to be mean saying that. She has a charm that many people seem to respond to and her silly and sometimes imature way of talking would fit.

I agree with you FG, the woman does nothing but annoy me.

I spoke to my mother last night and she mentioned that she picked up a copy of Palin's book and asked if I had done the same. Honestly I thought she was joking and replied 'nope, I don't need any more door stops'... the extremely long silence that followed let me know she was actually serious. I don't know which was more shocking, that she bought the book and actually wanted to read it, or the fact that she thought that would even remotely interest me. Needless to say I cut that conversation short! :smt107

I remember the quote from the auto safety ads "You can Learn a Lot from A Dummy",well the people who supported a pol who quit in the middle of her term of office have such a hold on a group of Whites. Levi, wherever you are I hope you can drop a bombshell of facts of that woman and also watch you back since fanatics like those kooks do dangerous things. The nerve she said she would invite him for Thanksgiving dinner while at the same time calling him "Ricky Hollywood".

My mother is well aware that a particular skin color is not something that even makes the list of qualities I look for in a man. My mother's second marriage was IR, I have two biracial sisters, and several IR couples in my family. She wouldn't care who I dated, and honestly I wouldn't care if she did. I'm an adult capable of thinking for myself, and no ones opinion matters to me. The only thing I care about is whether I respect the person looking back at me from the mirror. As long as I'm good with me, I don't give a damn who isn't.
