Love it!!! My biggest fear is losing mobility, I plan to still be fit in my old age, exercising is what keeps us young and youthful, is definitely a lifestyle choice.
Losing mobility is nearly everyone`s fear as they age. Exercising does all the things you mentioned but it also keeps you healthy. Of course, exercising should go hand in hand with healthy eating.
At my age, I wish I had started doing that when I was younger. On the other hand, I'm only in my early 40s so I still have plenty of time. And I feel like I've made some positive changes so far. I've been losing so much weight I think my scale might be broken.
Please forgive me if I come across as a know it all, but mobility later in life is strongly correlated to early life physical activity. I am 2 years post stroke and did a lot of study on this issue as I had to learn to walk, brush my teeth etc all over again. Nero pathways are formed during early childhood and reinforced by our daily activities as we age. The more we do something the more our brain thinks that is important to us and will prioritize it.
I'm 43 next year and I couldn't have gotten that kind of body when I was 23 lol. My hat is off to him, though!
